If your kids are good with distinguishing comic characters from real life, then Venom 2 shouldn't be too scary for them to watch. Older kids 10 and up should be fine with the level of scares provided by this movie.
There is, on the other hand, more profanity than you'd typically find in a Marvel movie, with 13 scatological curses and one f-bomb.

Violent, action-packed and often scary, Venom deserves its M rating, and we strongly recommend parental guidance for younger teenagers.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage is rated PG-13 for violence and language. Is Venom 2 kid friendly? Well, it's extremely violent and darker than the first, so it may be too much for younger kids.

Venom (also known as The Reaper) is a 2005 American horror film directed by Jim Gillespie and starring Agnes Bruckner, Jonathan Jackson, Laura Ramsey, Meagan Good, D. J. Cotrona and Method Man.
However, as per the latest update, Venom 3 is set to start production in June 2023. That's somewhat surprising considering the ongoing WGA writers' strike, but presumably, the team is confident about not needing any rewrites.
Content that may disturb children
In addition to the violent scenes mentioned above, Venom: Let There Be Carnage has some scenes that could scare or disturb children under 5 years. For example: Venom and Carnage both look quite scary. They have sharp, jagged teeth, sinewy bodies and tentacle-like arms.
The Venom symbiote never identifies as male or female, taking on both a masculine and feminine appearance depending on the host. Nonbinary folks have related to this character's gender fluidity. Even though the symbiotes all possess a masculine-presenting voice, gender itself is never established.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is currently in theaters making MCU history by featuring the first F-bomb in Marvel Studios' ambitious storytelling project.
While the film has a PG-13 certificate in the US, the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) has confirmed the Venom 2 Let There Be Carnage UK age rating to be 15.
However, Tolmach cautioned that the PG-13 rating of the first Venom had led to box office success and they would not be looking to change the franchise's tone simply because it had worked for others; the sequel ultimately received a PG-13 rating.
