The general consensus is Thor brought
The strongest, most logical theory why Vision can lift it with relative easy is due to the fact he is created with an Infinity Stone – the one found within the gem of Loki's scepter.
Same applies to Vision, Thor is the God of Thunder. Only he can produce lightning. Vision is just worthy of being the king of Asgard but since Odin didnt put curse on the Mjolnir (the 'Whoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor), Vision couldnt possess the power of Thor.
the same reason vision was able to hold the hammer. they are both programmed. they are both metal and wires. similar to an elevator, the hammer is just being lifted by a machine (although Ultron is a much more advanced machine, it is still a machine.).
Jarvis doesn't lift Thor's Hammer. Jarvis is an AI. Vision lifts Thor's Hammer. Vision is still very new, freshly created, and hasn't done anything yet that would not make him worthy.
Odin placed several enchantments upon Mjolnir prior to Thor wielding the hammer: This is reflected in the inscription on the side of Mjolnir, which states: Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor. For almost the entirety of Marvel continuity, this has exclusively been Thor.
How did Thanos manage to lift Stormbreaker? Thanos was able to lift Stormbreaker because the axe doesn't have worthiness enchantment as Mjlolnir does. Mjolnir is specific when it comes to the wielder's might since the only prerequisite to wielding is that the wielder is “worthy” of its might.
Yes. To have the hammer in his hand wouldn't and shouldn't ever happen. He's just not worthy of it under the magical conditions set on the hammer as per Odin The Asgardian All-Father. However, his genetic power and ability to control metal and magnetic fields would give him a leg up in countering its power.
Every MCU fan remembers with excitement the moment in Avengers: Endgame when Captain America (Chris Evans) first lifted Mjolnir. This didn't come as a surprise to Marvel comic fans, since Cap has proved on multiple occasions to be worthy of the power of Thor.
Surprisingly, This wasn't the only time that Iron Man lifted Mjolnir. In 1974's Avengers #122 by Steve Englehart, Bob Brown, and Mike Esposito, Iron Man lifted Mjolnir in outer space, but once he neared Earth's gravity field, his hand was pinned. This proved anyone could wield Thor's hammer where there is no gravity.
It took some seconds for the eye to adapt to Thor, granting him sight, although Thor firstly mistook the darkness of Nidavellir for a sign that the cybernetic eye did not work properly. By 2024 Thor had converted the eye's color from brown to match his left blue eye.
Godlike strength: Thor has limitless strength and can power himself even more by charging himself with lightning. He was able to bend Captain America's shield, then bend it back perfectly back to shape. He's the second strongest Avenger.
Hence, Mjolnir determines worthiness based on Odin's definition of worthiness. However, since Mjolnir also has a conscious being within it, in the form of God Tempest, another likely explanation is that it is God Tempest that determines the worthiness.
The Vision in the comics is certainly powerful, probably even more powerful than his cinematic incarnation. However, Thor is also much stronger in the comics than he is in the films (until very recently), so Vision was never really Thor's equal in the comic books.
Odin, in the myths, sacrificed his eye for wisdom, so naturally he couldn't just get it back. In the movie, Thor loses his eye right when it seems he's ready to step up and replace Odin as king. It shows that he's ready to take the throne, like the one-eyed Allfather before him.
Since Vision was caught off-guard, he didn't have time to phase through the blade, and his synthezoid body began to malfunction. After Corvus Glaive's attack, Vision couldn't use his powers and remained badly wounded for the rest of the movie, which gave Thanos and the Black Order more freedom to confront the Avengers.
Can anyone lift Stormbreaker? Yes — and the reasons why a crucial point in the comparison between Stormbreaker vs Mjolnir with respect to Thor's character arc in the MCU.
Like Stormbreaker, Mjolnir also allows Thor to wield thunder and lightning; however, it's not capable of summoning the Bifrost. The magic hammer did develop a power Stormbreaker couldn't, though, and it's able to detach its broken pieces to attack multiple enemies at once, before coming together again.
Thor, the god of Thunder, was undoubtedly the most powerful member of the original Avengers. His power continues to grow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Red was part of a film crew that was transported to Asgard by Loki. And at Loki's behest, Red took Thor's Belt of Strength and bathed in the Fires of Geirrodur before claiming Thor's Iron Gloves. The gloves were the key, since they allowed Red to lift and wield Mjolnir without being worthy.
Unlike adamantum, Magneto cannot manipulate vibranium – not if it's pure. Vibranium is a rare, extraterrestrial metallic ore. It has near-mystical properties that allow for energy manipulation and more. There is a Wakandan isotope and an Antarctic isotope, and both of them are completely unaffected by Magneto's powers.
Unlike the others, Zeus is not worthy to lift Mjolnir, but through a loophole, he can anyway. If Mjolnir is to enter his domain, Zeus's MCU powers should override Odin's enchantment, meaning he can hold Mjolnir. He may not be worthy, but technically Zeus is the fifth character who can lift Mjolnir in the MCU's Phase 4.
While no one besides Thor has been able to truly wield the awesome might of Stormbreaker, Groot was the very first being to hold this weapon when one of his arms became the handle for the mighty axe.
Stormbreaker has the additional power to summon the Bifröst, allowing Thor to teleport anywhere in the Nine Realms. Screen Rant has identified Stormbreaker as the more powerful of the two, based on this ability, as well as it being a much larger and edged weapon.
Based on the analysis of powers, speed, strength, durability, and combat, we can safely say that Odin is stronger than Thanos and outmatches him in almost every aspect. Thanos might be among the most feared villains in the Marvel Universe, but he comes nowhere near when compared to All-Father Odin.
