Venom is transported into the MCU, along with a host of other familiar faces, because of a Doctor Strange incantation gone horribly wrong. Think about that spell for a minute, and how it worked. The idea was to make everyone forget Peter Parker's connection to Spider-Man.
The No Way Home Venom cameo was demeaning to the beloved character because it felt included only to make future MCU movies easier to write. The sole purpose of Tom Hardy's MCU cameo seems to be introducing the Venom symbiote into the MCU, a feat that could have been accomplished in a myriad of other ways.
Strange said everyone who knows Peter Parker is Spiderman would be transported. The Venom symbiote is connected to a hive mind that reaches across universes and has some shared memories through that hive mind. Because of those shared memories, Venom recognized Spider-Man because another Venom encountered him.
They do neither. Instead, Doctor Strange's spell – the one cast at the end of the movie – puts everyone back in their original universes and Eddie disappears in a flash of light, leaving a bemused bartender and probably a hefty tab.
The black suit alien symbiote that had been bonded to Spider-Man was by that point forcibly rejected by him. Combining with the nearby Brock, the symbiote shared his hatred for Spider-Man, as well as mentally sharing with Brock its former host's secret identity of Peter Parker.
But why does Venom lick the TV with Peter's face on it? Besides communicating the apparent fact that Venom wants to eat brains — and Peter's looks tasty to Venom — Venom's hunger appears to be proof of an intrinsic attraction to Peter Parker.
Symbiotes are highly vulnerable to sound, and it was a weakened symbiote that found a new host in Brock. Both fostered a hatred for Spider-Man for destroying their hopes and dreams and effectively ending their lives. Venom emerged from the bond between the renewed symbiote and body-builder Brock.
Venom is transported into the MCU, along with a host of other familiar faces, because of a Doctor Strange incantation gone horribly wrong. Think about that spell for a minute, and how it worked. The idea was to make everyone forget Peter Parker's connection to Spider-Man. But the spell goes haywire.
All the captured symbiotes have struggled to find compatible hosts, killing all the previous human test subjects. In the movie, Venom makes it clear that Eddie is the best match he has found, which explains why he stays in his body and helps him survive.
The biggest takeaway from the picture and footage shown in the post-credits scene is the fact that, as mentioned, Peter wasn't fully erased from them. His face was either covered or his back turned to the camera. This could mean that Strange's spell didn't fully erase people's memories of him.
Very long story short, Marvel owns the publishing rights to all of its characters, but the company doesn't own all the movie rights. The movie rights to certain characters – namely Spider-Man, Venom, Morbius, etc – lie with Sony Pictures.
Venom's twisted hate of Spider-Man, and his brief time as Spider-Man's costume, has led to his powers continuing to mimic Spider-Man's. Venom has a warning sense due to its alien origin and can swing from building to building in a similar manner as Spider-Man, using "webs" generated from the symbiote.
In the mid credits scene of Venom 2, Venom explains to Eddie Brock that all symbiotes share a hivemind across all dimensions. So because Tobey's Spider-Man 3 Venom knows that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, Then Venomverse Venom has that knowledge too.
The Black Suit, otherwise known as the Symbiote Suit, is a living, breathing entity now known as the Venom Symbiote. It's seen a storied history of its own, beginning with Spider-Man before taking its own shape with photojournalist Eddie Brock to become the fan-favorite anti-hero Venom.
During the War of the Realms event, after Venom was separated from Eddie, the symbiote, in its humanoid form, joined the War Avengers (composed of Captain Marvel, Deadpool, Sif, Winter Soldier, Weapon H, Black Widow, and Captain Britain) to fight off Malekith's invasion.

In addition, Venom has come out on top as the victor in many battles with Symbiotes like Carnage, Hybrid, and Scream (all of which are arguably more powerful than he is).
In 1994's SPIDER-MAN #53, the Scarlet Spider (A.K.A. Ben Reilly) succeeded in subduing Venom by separating the symbiote from Eddie Brock. The hero achieved this by shooting some Impact Webbing straight into Venom's mouth. Once they exploded within, they expanded and pushed the cosmic costume away from Brock's body.
Venom's Weirdest and Most Tragic Story Was Getting Eddie Brock... Pregnant? One of the most tragic and weirdest Venom stories is how the symbiote made Eddie Brock pregnant, and this pregnancy created more chaos than Carange.
Tom Hardy's Venom is rumored to be part of Spider-Man 4. However, Sony's take on Venom is more of an anti-hero with strong leanings towards doing more good than bad. Venom could start off fighting Spider-Man and then eventually team up to fight an even bigger baddie later on in the movie.
As they chat, Venom reveals he has "80 billion light-years of hive knowledge across universes" and offers Eddie a taste. As he does so, the two are somehow transported to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where they hear J. Jonah Jameson exposing Peter Parker's identity on the TV.
Peter Parker's old friend Vemon hasn't been confirmed for the film yet, but Marvel Kevin Feige has confirmed that he indeed is now part of the MCU too. The Marvel Studio's President Kevin Feige spoke to Collider (via Comicbook) about Venom and confirms that the baddie is now in the MCU too.

Venom originally chose Peter but Peter rejected the symbiotic after learning that it was evil, Venom, now angry, found Eddie Brock, a journalist that lost his job and blames Spider-Man for it, their shared hatred of Spider-Man makes them both agree, that he needs to die.
Carnage is Venom's offspring. That is why Carnage often calls him “Pops” or the like. Like a previous poster stated Venom feels responsible for Carnage and Carnage hates his “dad”.
