Marvel star Chris Hemsworth has laid down his requirements for reprising the role as Thor, with the actor stating that any potential sequel would need to be “something unique” and avoid doing the same thing again and again.
While his enthusiasm may have diminished recently, Chris Hemsworth will be returning if there is a Thor 5, though it will likely serve as Hemsworth's Thor exit.
His claim to fame, though, is starring as the God of Thunder – aka "Thor" – in a handful of MCU movies, a role he'll reprise for "Avengers: Secret Wars" in 2026. Hemsworth does not have any more future projects listed on his IMDb account.
