The obvious takeaway here is that Zeus and Hercules will return in a fifth Thor movie, with Thor and his fellow Asgardians forced to intervene in a war between Olympus and Midgard.
Zeus orders his son Hercules to kill Thor, and his most famous quote. Zeus is the secondary antagonist of the 2022 Marvel Cinematic Universe film Thor: Love and Thunder. He is the Greek God of the Sky and the head of the Council of Godheads in Omnipotence City, and the former idol of Thor Odinson.
Though a fourth Thor movie isn't confirmed, Zeus and Hercules are likely to return in some form in future Marvel Studios projects.

Well, it's about even. Hercules' strength is rarely matched. There were times when he even overpowered the Incredible Hulk – a feat that not even Thor could complete. So, when it comes to physical strength, Hercules is the strongest.
A vengeful god
Being tended to on his throne, Zeus expresses his fury that people now worship superheroes over gods. "They will fear us again when they see Thor Odinson fall from the sky," he says bitterly.
Thor tried to kill Zeus, did not succeed, and now Zeus is going to get his revenge. The next time we see Thor, he'll have to deal with the consequences of those actions—aka the wrath of the gods, via a battle with Hercules.
Odin has pretty clearly been shown to be demonstrable more powerful than the other gods. Odin's Odinforce has far outstripped anything Zeus's magical lightning bolts have ever done.
But once called out on his cowardice by Thor, he quietly admitted to being afraid of Gorr, as he wielded the Necrosword and was capable of killing all gods for good - but downplayed the threat in order to maintain his mighty image, as well as to not cause panic amongst his peers.
Thor wanted Zeus and the other gods to help him fight Gorr the Godbutcher (Christian Bale), who—as you can perhaps guess from his name—poses a threat to all the gods. Zeus is uninterested in helping. Thor then kills Zeus using Zeus' own thunderbolt, which (frankly) feels like a bit of an overreaction.
It should come as no surprise that, in a one-on-one battle of Zeus vs Thor, Zeus would easily triumph.
Odin and Zeus are two of the strongest beings in Marvel Comics, and it's hard to say definitively which one is greater than the other. Either way, the difference between their powers doesn't seem to be significant (if there is one at all). Also, other cosmic figures have regarded them as equals.
Following a contest between the Elders of the Universe, Earth gets temporarily removed from its solar orbit, breaking the spell Zeus used to contain Nyx and her children. Nyx slaughters not just Zeus but the entire Greek pantheon.
As a matter of fact, not only does Zeus survive the events of Love and Thunder, but it's also revealed that his brief battle with the God of Thunder has awakened an intense desire for revenge within him.
Loki – Thor's archenemy and adoptive brother. The son of Laufey, ruler of the Frost Giants of Jotunheim, one of the "Nine Worlds" of the Asgardian cosmology. He is a master of spellcasting and trickery.
In the Theogony, after Zeus defeats the Titans and banishes them to Tartarus, his rule is challenged by the monster Typhon, a giant serpentine creature who battles Zeus for control of the cosmos. According to Hesiod, Typhon is the offspring of Gaia and Tartarus, described as having a hundred snaky fire-breathing heads.
Who is older, Zeus or Odin? Since Odin is credited with having a hand in creating the world itself, it is safe to say that he is older than Zeus. However, the first written accounts of Zeus are much earlier than the first ones we have of Odin.
Thor: Love and Thunder Roy Kent actor
He's also starred in films such as Superbob, Adult Life Skills, Wild Honey Pie! and The Pact. Were you surprised to see Hercules pop up in Thor: Love and Thunder, and were you surprised Ted Lasso's Brett Goldstein was tapped to play him? Sound off below!
Zeus was confirmed to be apart of the MCU in the newest Marvel movie still in theatres today. As long as Thanos doesn't disturb Zeus' possessions of his, nor kill his more personally close gods he would not intervene as he simply does not care for mortal deaths or gods that he does not have a close relationship with.
He delivers a venomous monologue about how "it used to mean something to be a god". He adds that people "just want to see one of their so-called superheroes" and that "they will fear us again". After issuing his threatening monologue, he summons his son Hercules and sends him after Thor.
Originally there was no restriction placed on the hammer for who can use it but after Thor's reckless behavior, Odin Borson placed an enchantment on it. This spell read "Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor." Only those deemed worthy to lift Mjolnir can.
Zeus Wants to Kill Thor, Not Help Him
Because of this rebellious act against the god king, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are introduced to Zeus' son, Hercules (Brett Goldstein), in the mid-credits scene for Love and Thunder.
When Thor appeals to the ruler, he and the rest of the gods refuse to help in their efforts, as they feel their safety lies in Omnipotence City. Zeus becomes suspicious of Thor and the gang, that they may tell Gorr where Omnipotence City is, so he doesn't let them leave.
