11-13 year olds may be better equipped to navigate the scary movie scene on some level but each child is different. If your child watches something that they say is not scary to them but then starts coming to you at night wanting to sleep closer to you or is having nightmares let their behavior speak for them.
The script is witty, funny and pretty much laugh a minute and the gags and spoofs are mostly dead on, my favourite being the one with GhostFace and Shorty getting high. The soundtrack is fantastic as well, and the acting is better than I expected even from Marlon Wayans who I can be annoyed by.

But, this is NOT for kids. There is very violent scenes, including head shots, brains oozing out of people's heads from those shots, and Deadpool uses his swords to impale people, slice their heads off, and slice them in half. There is also a LOT of sexual scenes.
I recently watched this with my 12 year old kid and he loved this movie. It had nothing bad in it, there was no sex/nudity, no F-words or any other extreme language, no drugs, no gore, but lots of terror.
