If your child is less than 14 years old, you can access your child's immunisation records via your myGov account. If you do not have a myGov account, you will need to create an account by going to the myGov website. If your child is 14 years or older, they will have to create their own myGov account.
Sign in to myGov. Select Add newborn child. Answer all the questions and attach a scanned copy or photo of your child's proof of birth.
You must be a natural person to have a myGov account. This means you are an individual human being.
Teenagers may start accessing government services themselves. When they do, they can create a myGov account.

You can add your children to your new card if they meet all of these requirements: they're listed on your current Medicare card. they're under 15. they're only on one Medicare card.
Each myGov account must have a unique email address. The same email can't be used for two myGov accounts. If you share an email address with someone, only one of you can use it to create a myGov account.
You can get your own Medicare card and number if you're 15 or older and enrolled in Medicare.
Generally, young people can get their own Medicare card by visiting a Medicare office or call Medicare on 13 20 11.
All working Australians have to provide their employer with a Tax File Number (TFN). If you have turned 13 years old you can apply without your parent / carer signature. If you do not provide a TFN you will pay more tax. You can apply for a TFN before you get your first job.
How to get a Medicare card. You can get your own Medicare card from the age of 15, although you can stay on your family's Medicare card until you decide to get your own card. There are detailed instructions on how to enrol in Medicare on the Medicare website.
Add children under 15 to an existing Medicare card
If you're a parent or guardian, you can add a child to an existing card. This can be your current card or someone else's card. If the child is not on your current family card, you'll need to give us some supporting documents, for example: Family Court Order.
If you don't have a myGov account or a Medicare online account, you'll need to create them. You can use your Medicare online account to manage details and claims, view statements and get letters online. To do your business with us online, create a myGov account and link to Medicare.
If you are listed on your parent's or guardian's Medicare card: if you are aged 14 or over, no one else can see your Medicare claim history online by logging into their MyGov account; or.
You can only be on 2 Medicare cards at the same time. Once you're 15 years or older you can get your own Medicare card.
Minor children by law can't open a savings account. They need a parent or guardian to set up a custodial or joint account. A custodial account is the property of the child, but managed by the parent until the child turns 18.
Usually, your child has to be at least 11 years old to open a child account. Some banks have a higher age limit of 16. You may also find that additional features are made available once your child turns 16.
Once a child turns 14, families are no longer able to access a child's Medicare records.
