As an administrator, you can reset users' passwords to maintain account security.
The passwd command changes passwords for user accounts. A normal user may only change the password for their own account, while the superuser may change the password for any account.
Note: If you are logged on as an administrator, you can create and change passwords for all user accounts on the computer.
Administrators can reset a user's password as often as needed. When you reset a user's password, Salesforce also resets the user's security token and sends the user an email with the new security token.
