At the end of the day, none of the Hashira could've defeated Akaza – even though a few of them could've succeeded in decapitating him. Akaza proved himself to be too strong to be dragged into sunlight, meaning there'd be no way for any of the Hashira to kill him.
Muichiro can defeat Akaza easily with his petite body that leverages his speed. Moreover, his ability of Transparent World can aid him in landing a fatal blow on Akaza's weak spot.
Tanjiro Kamado and Giyu Tomioka vs Akaza is a battle that takes place in the Infinity Castle, between Demon Slayer Tanjiro Kamado and the Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka against Upper Rank Three Akaza.
After awakening his demon slayer mark, Giyu greatly overpowers Akaza. However, he is able to keep up with the fight only because of Tanjiro. If Giyu had soloed against Akaza, he would have died.
However, when Keizo and Koyuki eventually got killed, Akaza went berserk and ended up killing more than 60 people just with his bare hands.
Unfortunately, Rengoku was killed by Akaza, the Upper Moon 3. This took place when he, along with Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke, boarded the Mugen train to investigate cases of missing people.

As a result, Tengen Uzui has to deal with the moniker of being the least powerful Hashira around. Of course, that's not the worst thing in the world, as all Hashira are strong. He's still incredibly powerful and can give any demon a run for their money.
Can Gyomei beat Akaza and douma? Gyomei can actually win the fight. Gyomei's strength is praised by many high ranked demons and he has enough stamina to withstand a night long fight against any upper rank. And even without his breathing technique, gyomei is insanely strong.
1) Yoriichi Tsugikuni
He was the creator of Sun Breathing which is the most powerful Breathing technique. Yoriichi was the only person who could defeat the progenitor of all the demons, Muzan Kibutsuji. Doma is an inferior opponent, as he won't even last a second in front of Yoriichi.
With that said, all Hashira in Demon Slayer have one glaring flaw: they're only human. As such, they're not infallible and are certainly not tougher than their demon enemies. This results in some rather lopsided matches and emotionally-charged oversights on their part.
1) Tengen Uzui
Without a doubt, the flamboyant Tengen Uzui is physically the fastest Hashira in the Demon Slayer Corps. His sound breathing technique is a derivative of thunder breathing, one of the quickest breathing styles.
Gyomei Himejima is the strongest Hashira in Demon Slayer. Even the Hashiras who are filled with pride, acknowledged his skill and strength. As a child he was able to save a child from a demon by physically beating it for hours. He, along with Sanemi Shinazugawa were able to beat the Upper Moon 1, Kokushibo.
Can a Hashira solo a upper 3? If we take out Gyomei, then no Hashira can go solo against any of the Upper 3 demons. Gyomei is the only strongest current Hashira that can go head to head against Upper 1 without dying in minutes.
Giyu Tomioka and Sanemi Shinazugawa attend as the final surviving members of the Hashira, and together they they get a confirmation that not only are the demons all eradicated, but that the Demon Slayer Corps will be disbanding.
Despite her petite appearance, Mitsuri Kanroji has a special muscular composition that makes her muscles eight times denser than an ordinary human's. She is also more flexible than the other Hashira. These two strengths balance out her being the slowest runner out of all the Hashira.
2) Sanemi Shinazugawa
He dedicated all his time and effort towards perfecting his skills as a swordsman which was shown during the fight against both Muzan and Kokushibo.
5/14 Fastest Hashira In Running
Despite his large and muscular build, Tengen Uzui is the fastest runner among the Hashira.
Despite his battle intelligence and the ability to see through enemies with the Transparent World, Obanai doesn't stand against Akaza. He is slower, and his strength is subpar to the demon.
Yoriichi was born with the Demon Slayer mark and prowess in swordsmanship. His powers were beyond comparison as he defeated Muzan once and had him on the verge of death until he managed to escape.
In conclusion, Nezuko cannot beat Akaza in Demon Slayer. In terms of power, physical abilities, regeneration rate and overall combat ability, Akaza is far superior compared to Nezuko.
Akaza has short pink hair and yellow eyes with a blue colored sclera, the kanji for Upper Moon Three written onto his irises.
Akaza appears before Muzan and reports to him that he could not find the Blue Spider Lily, instead, he took down one of the Hashira. Muzan retorts it was only one Hashira and declaring his desire is for all to be dead. Angered at his failure, Muzan takes control of Akaza's cells and causes him to bleed heavily.
Even after becoming a demon and losing his memories of his human life, parts of his human memories influenced his decisions; he refuses to eat or kill women, despite knowing it would make him stronger if he did so.
