“Customers have been bringing their dogs into our stores for many years,” he said. “Dogs are allowed in our stores if they are friendly, under control and comply with the conditions of entry. “We try to use a common sense approach when welcoming dogs into our stores.
After the screening policy, the rules for bringing dogs to Bunnings are that “Dogs are allowed if secured, muzzled or carried in a cart.”
Other stores allowing pets include Dymocks, Australia Post, JB Hi-Fi, Bonds Outlet, Shaver Shop and Flight Centre. Chrissie Maus from the Chapel Street Precinct Association says the initiative makes for a more friendly and social experience for shoppers.

All pets and animals are not permitted to enter Woolworths stores, with the exception of registered guide dogs and assistance animals. However in her video, the Woolworths worker said that she had met the pups when customers had tried to bring into the store.
Coles confirms pet policy
