While some E10+ rated video games can have mild blood (and in some rare cases, E rated video games may have blood without violence), Blood (and Gore) is restricted to a T rating or higher.
1998–present (as E) Games with this rating contain content that that the ESRB believes is suitable for all ages, including minimal cartoon, fantasy or mild violence, and/or the infrequent use of mild language.
Rating: M (Mature)
Depending on the game, the ESRB says M-rated games may contain “intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content and/or strong language.” These games may have a variety of content descriptors related to adult content, such as “Sexual Themes,” “Use of Drugs,” and “Mature Humor.”
E (Everyone)
45% of all physical and console downloadable games in 2019 were rated E for Everyone. This means more than 1,815 games in 2019 were (and are) suitable for the whole family!
Titles rated E – Everyone have content that may be suitable for persons ages six and older. Titles in this category may contain minimal violence, some comic mischief and/or mild language.
The earliest console video game to receive a “mature” rating from the Entertainment Software Rating Board, was the SNES version of Doom was The Board deemed the game suitable only for those aged 17 years old or over because of the “Animated Blood and Gore and Animated Violence” in the content.

Unsurprisingly, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare ESRB rating is M for Mature, thanks to Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Strong Language, Suggestive Themes, and Use of Drugs.

The majority of AO-rated games are adult video games, typically those with pornographic or strong sexual content. Three games have been given the rating solely due to extreme levels of violence: the canceled Thrill Kill (1998), the initial cut of Manhunt 2 (2007), and Hatred (2015).
Playing FIFA 23 Online
While FIFA 23 is rated E for Everyone, it is a good idea to monitor online play.
R: Restricted - Under 17 requires accompanying parent or guardian.
There is some blood and very mild gore. If someone is knocked down the player can shoot him more times. You can perform executions on injured/downed enemies.

Mature (M)
M-rated films and computer games are not recommended for children under the age of 15. They include portrayals of elements such as violence and themes that require a mature outlook. However, children under the age of 15 may legally access this material as the classification rating is an advisory category.
Is it illegal for a person to play an age restricted game if they're not old enough? The Video Recordings Act 1984 only makes it illegal to supply a PEGI 12, 16 or 18 rated game to a person under those ages. It doesn't make it illegal for a younger person to play a game if their parents let them.

Parents Need to Know
It's a darker entry than previous games, including more graphic scenes of violence and torture. Combat is still the primary focus of the game, with lots of overwhelming close-up melee fighting.
