Superman is vulnerable to magic. It doesn't take away his
Thor is a god, and with the help of his enchanted hammer Mjolnir, he could potentially cause some serious damage to Superman. His incredible strength, speed, and durability make him a challenging force to be reckoned with.
It was later revealed that although Superman was honorable enough to wield Thor's hammer, he does not possess the heart of a warrior, and so Odin temporarily took away the hammer's enchantment so that Superman could save the day.
Yes it can because Superman has a weakness to magic and Thor's lightning is magical (actually it is his divine magic). The lightning would affect him the same as Captain Marvel's Shazam lightning would.
Superman and Thor are two of the strongest heroes in any universe, but which one of them would prevail in the ultimate Marvel vs DC showdown? While fans have argued about which superheroes could defeat each other for generations, the gold standard of superhero strength in these friendly arguments is Superman.
Superman's Advantage Over Thor
Supermans main advantage tends to be his 'super speed', his ability to fly and, of course, the energy beams from his eyes. And the slight nod in strength. From a combat perspective, these do give him an advantage. The eye blasts especially make fighting Superman a nightmare for Thor.
And Mathaudhu can cite documentary sources to back him up. For example, Marvel – which publishes the Thor comics – issued a “Thor's Hammer” trading card in 1991 that states Mjolnir is made of Uru and weighs precisely 42.3 pounds. That's lighter than a herd of 300 billion mice, much less a herd of 300 billion elephants.
Can Spider-Man (from any universe) lift Mjolnir? Sure, the prime Spider-man (Peter Parker of Earth 616) was able to lift Mjolnir and throw it to Thor. As such he was worthy to lift the hammer but probably not worthy to wield the power of Thor (there IS a difference).
Captain Marvel, aka Shazam, is one of the most powerful heroes DC has to offer. He's on Superman's level, though Shazam's powers are derived from magic. However, being powerful is not what makes Shazam worthy of Mjolnir. In fact, Shazam is not the one who is worthy of the hammer; Billy Batson is.
If anybody from the MCU could defeat Superman, it's Scarlet Witch. After defeating five members of the Illuminati, consisting of Professor X, Captain Marvel, Captain Carter, Mr. Fantastic, and Black Bolt, we don't want to imagine what Scarlet Witch could do to Superman.
Thor wins. Not only is Thor a better combatant and more experienced, but he also can be stronger than Shazam by using Megingjord to augment his superhuman strength.
It turns out the enchantment on Mjolnir preventing the unworthy from picking up the hammer had broken. While Thor granted Adam the chance to fly in his transformed state, Adam surrendered the power back to Thor willingly. Adam might not have been worthy, but it was certainly in good hands.
is Black Panther worthy of Mjolnir? the answer is actually yes. but it's not just t'challa. the whole Black Panther bloodline is worthy of Mjolnir.
Absolutely yes. In fact, there are quite a few misconceptions about Thor's abilities. Even Thor himself was unaware in Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok film.
Venom (2020)
During this battle, Venom (Eddie Brock) was given the powers of Captain Universe, and was able to wield the hammer. However, Venom took this advantage a step further by merging Mjolnir with the Silver Surfer's surfboard to create an even greater weapon.
The hammer Stormbreaker is very similar to Mjolnir, made of mystic Uru metal and is nearly indestructible. Worthiness: Just like the original Mjolnir, no one can lift Stormbreaker who is not worthy.
Avengers: Age Of Ultron Confirmed Iron Man Wasn't Worthy
After that, Iron Man never tried to lift Mjolnir again, as it was clear to him that he wasn't worthy, whatever that meant.
The amazing thing about the Hulk is that unlike nearly every other superhero ever created, the Hulk's strength has absolutely no upper limit. He can lift a commercial airplane – which weighs around 100 tons – when he is at his calmest; that's no problem for him.
In the stories (and the Marvel movies), we see the god throwing the short-handled hammer at his enemies. The top of the Mjölnir often (but not always) comes to a slight point, giving the overall object a somewhat diamond shaped appearance. This shape is similar to an inverted Tyr rune.
Norse mythology and Marvel Comics tell us that Mjolnir is composed of "uru metal," forged ages ago by the blacksmith Etri in the heart of a dying star. Presumably uru metal is magical in nature, and thus conveys the enchantment placed on it by Thor's father, Odin.
The ratio of Thor's reading speed to The Flash is 90 pages/hour/50 pages/hour = 9/5 times faster; approximately 2 times faster.
The two heroes have raced several times since then, in the comics, cartoons and movies. As a general rule, the comics claim that The Flash is the faster hero, with Barry Allen, Wally West and even an octogenarian Jay Garrick having outrun Superman over the years.
Hercules' strength is rarely matched. There were times when he even overpowered the Incredible Hulk – a feat that not even Thor could complete. So, when it comes to physical strength, Hercules is the strongest. It was shown multiple times throughout comics.
Daredevil
The most remarkable thing about Daredevil isn't that he's a blind superhero or that he can beat just about anybody in a fight. Not even close. The most remarkable thing about Daredevil is that he easily makes this list of superheroes who have never been killed.
