Osko payments typically transfer in less than a few minutes. Other payments (not Osko) are generally available on the next business day. Noting that if you make the payment after business hours, it could take an extra day (depending on the other bank's processing times, too).
One of the most common reasons for a bank transfer delay is a weekend or holiday. Transfers are typically processed during working days and hours, so if your sender has made a payment on Friday afternoon, it won't be processed until Monday morning. This automatically tacks on two days to the processing time.
Osko by BPAYTM is a near real-time payment. The service is built on the New Payments Platform and enables fast payments to a PayID or an eligible BSB and account number.

Osko provides the option to use a PayID to make a payment instead of a BSB/Account number. A PayID is a smart address for Osko payments. It links someone's bank account to a recognisable and memorable piece of information the person uses in everyday life – such as their phone number or email address.
