No. We think the upper limits of intelligence are somewhere around 250 on a deviance scale normed to 100 and a standard deviation of 15 or 16. There's a difference in kind of intelligence and in brain organization/connectivity above 160, and we'd likely need another leap in kind of intelligence to get much past 250.
There can be no person with an IQ of 500, because IQ is calculated to a statistical curve and there aren't enough people in the world to get beyond 200 or so.
Other people with some of the highest IQs are Sho Yano, who had an estimated IQ of around 200 at 10 years old, and Adragon De Mello, who had a projected IQ of 400 and graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz at 11 years old, according to Reader's Digest.
Presuming someone actually had a 500 IQ, they would be so smart that we almost can't even imagine it. Accomplishments of such a person would most likely include: Easily completing multiple PhDs before the average person would even graduate elementary school.
Although several individuals have been reported to have IQs exceeding 200, 200 is theoretically the greatest IQ that can exist. Anybody who has an IQ above 110 is fortunate enough to have superior intelligence. But some people have the good fortune to have substantially higher IQ scores.
Elon's IQ is estimated to be around 155, while Albert Einstein's is 160. With such a slight margin, Musk is undoubtedly an incredibly smart person. Who is the smartest person on earth in 2022? Born in 1975 in Adelaide, Australia is a mathematician, Terence Tao with an IQ score of 230.
Michael Kearney: IQ 200–325
By the age of 22, Kearney had earned four undergraduate degrees in computer science, geology, and chemistry, in addition to his first degree in anthropology. Kearney has an IQ score that ranges from 200 to 325, depending on the test.
A score of 145, which is exceptionally high, is a little over 1 in 1000. A score of 190 is approximately one in a billion. A score of 1000 is ridiculously, absurdly beyond what anybody could actually score that you could run the universe on repeat billions and billions of time and never once have somebody with that IQ.
There has never been anyone with an IQ that high; it's not clear how it could be measured (these things need to be normed) but we do have some evidence from some very very smart people.
With an IQ of 400, you'd be the smartest person to ever exist in the history of the world. You would know literally everything and there would be know escape from that. You'd be in the 100th percentile and would exceed everybody in high IQ societies as high as the Mega Society.
First an IQ of 10,000 is an impossibility, in the current system of reporting intelligence, and is therefore an intangible. Being the smartest person in the world might or might not lead to ever possessing a similarly large amount of money.
115 to 129: Above average or bright. 130 to 144: Moderately gifted. 145 to 159: Highly gifted. 160 to 179: Exceptionally gifted. 180 and up: Profoundly gifted.
The average IQ is, by definition, 100; scores above 100 indicate a higher-than-average IQ, and scores below 100 indicate a lower-than-average IQ. Theoretically, scores can range from any number below or above 100. In practice, however, they do not meaningfully go much below 50 or above 150.
Highly Gifted. 145 - 159. 1:1,000 - 1:10,000. Exceptionally Gifted.
The lowest IQ ever would be 0. However, no one has ever scored that. Scores below 75 usually indicate a cognitive disability. Some of the countries with the lowest IQ scores are Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Nepal.
In 2017, Dhruv Garg, a 13-year-old Indian-origin boy in the UK, scored 162 in his entry IQ test - the maximum possible, which places him in the top one percent of people in the world, the Daily Mirror reported.
Smart, VERY smart. Hate to spoil the fun, but a score of 1000 is not possible on any IQ test. IQ is represented by a bell curve, as follows: The mean is 100 with a standard deviation of 15.
William James Sidis has the World's Highest IQ. Anywhere from 250 to 300 is his IQ score, almost twice the score of Albert Einstein. At the age of eleven, William famously entered Harvard University, becoming the youngest person to enter. He also claimed to be conversant in 25 languages.
In general, an IQ score is defined with a median and mean of 100. Scores above 130 are labeled as above average or “very superior,” while scores under 70 would be considered below average or labeled as “borderline impaired.” Most people have an average IQ between 85 and 115.
Leonardo da Vinci's IQ has been estimated to be anywhere from 180 to 220, putting him well in the genius bracket and among the top few brainiacs in history. However, no scientific research has ever been conducted to determine Leonardo da Vinci's IQ.
Best known for developing the theory of relativity, he is amongst the top most geniuses the world has recognized. Einstein never took an IQ score test. However, based on his historical records, academics have estimated his score to be around 160.
