Thanos weilding the Infinity Gauntlet has the power to recreate or destroy all creation. He could blink superman out of existence with a thought. Superman Vs Thanos WITHOUT the Infinity Gauntlet on the other hand is a much more mouth watering prospect.
As mighty as they are, neither Thanos nor Superman is immortal. Both have been killed in the past, meaning neither is unbeatable. However, Thanos would need an ironclad plan to trap and defeat the Man of Steel, because if it comes down to plain old fisticuffs, Superman is definitely going to win.
With everything analyzed, it's obvious that Thanos is more powerful than Superman and would win in a fight even without Infinity Stones.
Thanos with the six infinity stones controls every aspect of the universe, so if he chose, he could kill Superman in every possible way you can imagine.
What would happen if Superman held the Infinity Gauntlet with all the stones? Superman would not wield it. He has been on the verge of unparalleled, absolute power before. Yet, the Man of Steel instead chose to throw this great power into the farthest depths of space to ensure than no one ever had that level of power.
Infinity Ultron stomps because he can actually reality warp on a multiversal scale and has EVERY power you can think of. Superman 1 million is very OP but he still is limited to the usual Superman power set. Flight, Strength, Speed, Durability, Freeze Breath, Solar Energy Absorbtion. That's it.
While the current roster of the Avengers is a pretty formidable group, there's a very good chance Superman is going to be able to run through a good amount of them in short order. However, the Avengers have a whole lot of underrated members they can call on for help and that's going to make a world of difference.
Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman has long been a symbol of strength and courage, and her ability to defeat Thanos is no exception. She stands in opposition to the Mad Titan and has the potential to overpower him, thanks to her incredible strength, agility, and fighting skills.
Based on the analysis of powers, speed, strength, durability, and combat, we can safely say that Odin is stronger than Thanos and outmatches him in almost every aspect. Thanos might be among the most feared villains in the Marvel Universe, but he comes nowhere near when compared to All-Father Odin.
Superman is vastly more powerful and skilled than Thanos. It wouldn't take him long to realize how dangerous the Mad Titan was and once he did, he'd take the kid gloves off. A few big punches later and Thanos would be done.
Yes, as a shock to many, Superman has briefly lifted the mighty hammer in a phenomenal crossover with Marvel and DC Comics.
Superman would have as much or as little a chance of survival as anyone else. He may be bulletproof, but he isn't snap-proof. Only an individual with extreme or nearly cosmic levil luck would be impervious to the snap, unless of course it was more fortunate for them to be snapped than not to be.
Captain Marvel, also known as Carol Danvers, is one of the most powerful superheroes in the Marvel universe, and her abilities could potentially give her an edge over Superman in a hypothetical battle. Captain Marvel possesses superhuman strength, speed, and endurance that could match or even surpass Superman's.
Thanos is stronger, faster, and more durable than Ghost Rider and has more varied powers and abilities, and with them, he can easily counter everything Ghost Rider can throw at him. On the other hand, Ghost Rider's most powerful weapon, his penance stare, doesn't work on Thanos.
For most of the fight, Shazam is winning without using the full extent of his powers because of his deep respect for Superman. While Superman ultimately wins, it's only because he's able to cover Batson's mouth.
Sadly, no matter which version of Aquaman (Momoa or otherwise) goes up against Thanos, the result will stay the same. The King of Atlantis will lose to Thanos even with his whole kingdom to reinforce him. He's a lot less stronger than Superman or Wonder Woman and a less intelligent than Batman.
While it is fairly obvious that the Flash could run circles around Thanos under normal circumstances as his powers make him virtually untouchable, there wouldn't be much the Scarlet Speedster could do if he was around for Thanos' Infinity Snap as there is no way to outrun the god-like power of cosmic chance.
Kang is more powerful than Thanos
Thanos certainly presented the Avengers with a challenge, and his power continued to grow as he amassed the various infinity stones. Kang, though, seems to have almost limitless power once he can access even one aspect of his hyperadvanced technology.
Instead of aliens, androids, and wizards, Thanos is afraid of aliens, Asgardians, and wizards. The theory posits Ego, Odin, and The Ancient One as three of Thanos' greatest fears, and he waited until all of them were dead to make his move.
Upon learning that Annihilus wanted to destroy all life in both the positive and negative matter universes, Thanos tried to release Galactus. Most unfortunately, Drax showed up and ripped out Thanos's heart, killing him.
When it comes to raw strength, Superman is more likely to outmatch Captain Marvel. Based on how their powers work, Captain Marvel is almost always at maximum capacity with her abilities, whereas Superman can only grow stronger the longer he is under a yellow sun.
While Scarlet Witch still might be learning about herself in the MCU, she's got an incredible amount of power. That power just might be enough to take out someone as strong as Superman if the two were ever to face off in a fight against one another.
Thanos's power, cunning, and years of experience have allowed him to outsmart and defeat some of the most powerful beings in the universe. All manners of beings have fallen before Thanos and while the Avengers are powerful, if Thanos really put his mind to it, he could end the Avengers at any moment.
