In an outright hand fight,
When powered up, Thor is almost unbeatable and it shouldn't really come as a surprise that Strange's mystical skills wouldn't work once Thor figures them out. Doctor Strange's defenses would only hold up for so long against the powerful blows of Thor and Mjolnir.
Thor is repeatedly vanquished by the 5 new Phoenix hosts over the course of 12 issues: Colossus, Namor, Cyclops, Magik, and Emma Frost. Colossus even manages to knock Mjolnir out of Thor's hands at one point, demonstrating the strength of Phoenix and why it should not be trifled with.
Hulk defeats the Zom-possessed Doctor Strange, causing the demonic entity to flee.
As a reward, Strange was given ageless life and an ankh-shaped mark on his forehead that would only appear when his life was in dire jeopardy. The Ancient One himself had attained near-immortality by passing this test over 600 years earlier.
Spider-Man has fought by Thor's side many times. He knows how the Norse god fights, and he knows that it would be impossible for him to beat Thor. He's smart enough to know the only hope he'd have against Thor is with a group, one that would distract the god long enough for Spider-Man to make a difference in the fight.
Hercules / Zeus
While not cosmic (none of that on this list!), he can survive the vacuum of space and resist cosmic attacks. He ranks above Thor here because he's technically the stronger of the two. In fact, he is considered by many authorities to be the physically strongest character Marvel has ever created.
The Eye of Agamotto allows Doctor Strange to levitate opponents, or even send them across vast distances. This will undoubtedly give Doctor Strange a huge advantage in any fight, but certainly against Shazam.
Strange. Zeus has more personal raw power, sure, but the thing about Strange is, he uses the power of other items and entities, whose powers dwarfs Zeus own. Zeus is vastly powerful, but not omnipotent, while Strange calls upon beings who are close to omnipotent.
Doctor Strange loses his reality and agency once again in the 2015 Secret Wars crossover event. Doctor Doom steals the power of the Beyonders and collapses the multiverse down to one reality, Battleworld. In this new reality, Doom makes Strange his personal assistant, a humiliating defeat for the Sorcerer Supreme.
Thor is more powerful than Scarlet Witch and would win a fight against her in the comics and the MCU. Thor's powerset is objectively more versatile than Wanda's, and he is physically superior in every aspect.
Blessed with the powers and long life of a god, Thor was undoubtedly the most powerful member of the initial version of the Avengers. Not only can he fly and transport between worlds, but he was also the only one capable of taking down Thanos, even after he had assembled all six Infinity Stones.
1) Thor. Thor, one of the most powerful Avengers in the MCU, is known for his incredible strength, lightning powers, and indestructible hammer Mjolnir. He is a formidable opponent, and in Avengers: Endgame, he wields Stormbreaker, a weapon that is even more powerful than Mjolnir.
Alive for millennia, Thor has been fighting evil for a very long time and there are few who can match his skill. This is one of those fights where Venom just can't hurt Thor. He might be able to slow him down, but Thor's sheer might, combined with the power of Mjolnir, would be too much for Venom to handle.
All in all said, Thor was a whole can defeat Hulk. A large part of that is being able to wield Mjolnir. Hulk cannot keep up with or match Thor when fighting with this might weapon. Hulk struggled to defeat in The Mighty Thor #385 even when using three of Thor's weaknesses against him.
Thor and Iron Man have mostly been friends over the years, but they have come to blows, most notably upon Thor's return after Civil War. Thor took exception to Iron Man's actions when he found out about them, especially Iron Man's use of a Thor clone, and the two came to blows. Thor beat Iron Man easily.
Thor wins. Not only is Thor a better combatant and more experienced, but he also can be stronger than Shazam by using Megingjord to augment his superhuman strength. Additionally, Thor is more invulnerable than Shazam and has a better understanding and grasp of magical and mystical energies.
Thor doesn't always save the day in Marvel Comics, and some of his biggest losses include falling to Thanos and Gorr the God Butcher. Thor: Love And Thunder revisits Thor after he has lost everything, including his home in Asgard, his brother Loki, and his sense of place in the universe.
Ghost Rider wins in a fight against Thor. Even though Thor is physically stronger than Ghost Rider, Thor has nothing in terms of magic to throw at him due to Ghost Rider's immunity to most types of damage and his ability to reassemble himself even after the most severe damage.
When failing to obtain the Book of Vishanti, Defender Strange attempted to absorb her powers to protect the multiverse, but was mortally wounded by the Ribboned Creature. Though dying from his injuries, his corpse was vital in Earth-19999 Doctor Strange fighting Scarlet Witch to save America.
Strange manages to trap Dormammu in a time loop and then strike a bargain with him to leave Earth alone, but doing so forces Strange to break that inviolable rule of not tampering with the natural order of life.
