We use iMessage every day to communicate with our friends and family through text messages. But did you know that you can also use it to see the location of your contacts? Yes, you read that right! You can easily see the location of anyone you're chatting with on iMessage.
In the Messages app on your Mac, select a conversation. Click the Details button in the top-right corner of the conversation. A map appears when a person shares their location; you may need to scroll to see it.
While sending iMessage, you will automatically share your main location with the receiver. It can be a helpful feature but can even be a disadvantage.
See the location of a friend
Tap People at the bottom of the screen, then tap the name of the person you want to locate. If your friend can be located: They appear on a map so you can see where they are. If your friend can't be located: You see “No location found” below their name.

The most common reason behind this issue is that you don't have location permission for the iMessage application. It may also happen if you have turned off location services on your iPhone intentionally or unintentionally.
You can stop sharing your location with a particular person by choosing that person in the People tab, then scrolling down and choosing Stop Sharing My Location. Or you can stop sharing with everyone by turning off Share My Location in the Me tab.
It is possible for someone to find your location by texting you if they have access to your phone's location information or if you share your location with them. For example, if you receive a text message with a link to a location, clicking on the link could allow the sender to track your location.
Regardless of whether you use an iPhone or an Android smartphone, it is possible for someone to install spyware onto your phone that secretly tracks and reports on your activity. It's even possible for someone to monitor your cell phone's activity without ever even touching it.
Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. The list shows the apps that requested permission to track you. You can turn permission on or off for any app on the list. To stop all apps from asking permission to track you, turn off Allow Apps to Request to Track (at the top of the screen).
iMessage does not strip any EXIF data, and all images sent through iMessage will contain data such as when the image was taken, its GPS location when the image was taken etc.

To check if you're affected, simply open the app and check if location sharing is turned on. This is different for each app but can be easily turned off.
The best way to block phone tracking is to use a VPN. But you can also change a few settings on your phone or switch to a different browser to stop tracking. You can hide your location via settings, block ad tracking with a dedicated private browser, and encrypt all of your internet traffic with a VPN.
The ONLY way someone can track you is if they know your Apple ID and password, so if you suspect someone is tracking you simply change your password and they won't be able to. There is no way of knowing if she is actually tracking you if she knows your Apple ID and password. If she doesn't know it she can't track you.
Formal discovery requires a party to disclose anything asked by the other party which is relevant and within the control of the party. This includes text messages (unless they were deleted). Failure to answer discovery may result in the finding of contempt against the spouse.
