You can use hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers to add volume to your lips and deal with lines and wrinkles around the lips (smoker's lines). You could inject around 10 to 20 syringes of filler (total) for the upper and lower lips.

Dermal fillers – There are many types of dermal fillers that can be used on many areas of the face but when it comes to treating vertical lip lines, it is best to use hyaluronic acid fillers, such as fillers from the Juvederm or Restylane family of fillers.
A client who opts for one full syringe of filler can expect their results to last between 6 months to 1.5 years. Those who opt for half a syringe of filler can expect their results to last for a maximum of 6 months.
Avoid injecting the wet/dry border on the lower and upper lip.
Technically, you can inject filler in the 11's, but we do not recommend it. Like mentioned above, injecting filler in this area has a high risk for vision complications. Safety is a priority when it comes to injectables.
Most commonly, just 1 syringe is used for augmenting the lips, regardless of the type of filler you use. Occasionally, we will build up to 2 or even 3 syringes in the lips for a patient, but this is usually an older patient who has lost some of the definition and structure in the lips, as well as volume.
In reality many of my patients looking for improvement of a specific area only need about 1-2ml on average. Most people are surprised at the difference just one syringe of filler can make to a problem area.
Most fillers last between 12 and 24 months meaning that over this time period you can expect to lose about 50% of the filler that has been placed. As you lose filler the treated areas will appear less filled.
