At some point after his transformation into the armored Darth Vader, Amidala's husband, the fallen Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker came to visit the mausoleum, stricken by grief and remorse for his part in her death.
Sometime after the duel on Cloud City, the Sith Lord Darth Vader, formerly the Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and Amidala's secret husband, visited Naboo in his quest for revenge against those hid the existence of their son Luke Skywalker and was ambushed by the Amidalans before reaching the tomb.
Darth Vader's love and his grief was stronger than the pull of the Dark side. He visited Padme Amidala's mausoleum on her home planet of Naboo.
Sadly Anakin and Padme most likely never reunited together in the afterlife. Becoming one with the force is only an ability that force sensitives can achieve.

Honestly, I just couldn't figure out who she was or why she was even in the funeral procession. This also means that for the longest time I forgot I could just look up the credits of the film. Long story short, she is Padmé's niece, Pooja Naberrie, and was portrayed by Hayley Mooy.

It's possible Padmé would have still loved Anakin, but despised Darth Vader. "Obi Wan was right..you have changed." So Anakin ceasing to be Darth Vader and becoming Anakin again might have brought back the man that Padmé loved.
In the main Star Wars timeline, of course, Darth Vader's attempts to resurrect Padmé on Mustafar were doomed to failure. But it's fascinating to speculate what would have happened had he been successful. In that scenario, Padmé Amidala's return from the dead would not have provided the solace Darth Vader sought.
That would mean Padmé died at the age of 27. Anakin would have been about 22.
Jedi Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda watched Amidala's funeral from Senator Bail Organa's starship, the Sundered Heart. They didn't want to take the risk to come any closer and be found by the Empire, as they were certain that Emperor Palpatine's attention would be fixed on the funeral.
Yes, his entire character since then was a self loathing tragic monster who has little reason to care about anything. Betraying Mace Windu instantly made him regret his act of impulse, Padme's death and rejection of his actions later on made it stick.
Shmi was buried at the farm with a gravestone marking her grave. After her husband Cliegg Lars died, he was buried next to her.
During the Clone Wars, Rush Clovis represented the interests of the Banking Clan and the planet Scipio in the Senate. Clovis had once been romantically involved with Padmé Amidala, who discovered the Banking Clan was helping bankroll the Separatist war effort.
DARTH VADER DESTROYS PADME'S TOMB (CANON)
Right after Anakin dons the Darth Vader mask and takes his first mechanical breath, Padmé takes her last breath and passes away. Darth Vader awakens, and his first question is about the whereabouts of Padmé. Palpatine tells Darth Vader that in his anger he killed her, placing the blame for Padmé's death on Vader.
He still believed Palpatine was telling the truth when he said he would help save Padme. So, from Vader's distorted point of view, Palpatine had done nothing wrong and was the only person left by his side. And rather than lose everyone in his life, he figured he might as well commit to his life as a Sith.
Originally Answered: After Padme died why did Anakin choose to stay on the dark side? The only reason why Anakin joined the dark side in the first place was to save Padme from dying during her pregnancy. He had no choice after the events of Episode III. He had lost his wife and his friends/comrades in the Jedi Order.
Actually, yes. Palpatine did implant all of those dreams about her dying, and this isn't his first time doing that. supported by these quotes: Sidious is capable of fabricating dreams, as he did to Maul, Anakin, and Luke Skywalker.
She baits him to fight with her, threatening to go after Padmé –a surefire way to get under Anakin's skin and lose his cool. His unbalanced rage allows the calmer Ventress to play with the Jedi Knight, ultimately landing a face blow with her saber that produces Anakin's scar.
Yes, when Darth Vader turned back to Anakin Skywalker and sacrifice himself to save his son, he dies and Obi-Wan uses the force to connect with Anakin's spirit. In that time Anakin apologizes to Obi-Wan, desperately asking him to forgive him for everything he has done to him and everybody over the years.
Anakin foresaw and feared Padme's death in childbirth.
The original spark behind Anakin's turn was the nightmare that saw his wife dying in childbirth. He thought the Dark Side would grant him the power to prevent that reality from coming true.
What he did not see, at the time at least, was that Padmé used her last breaths to tell Obi-Wan that she was certain that in regards to her husband, "there's still good in him." Now, those words are set to be revealed to someone other than Darth Vader himself.
Darth Vader didn't learn he had a daughter until Return of the Jedi, when he stood before Emperor Palpatine. The Emperor's power probed Luke's mind, attempting to goad him to fall to the dark side, and he discovered Leia's existence. "Sister," the Emperor taunted.
In 'The Phantom Menace' (set in 32 BBY) Anakin is aged 9 and Padmé is 14. He turns ten during the film. By the time of their (sexual) relationship in Attack of the Clones, (set ten years later, set in 22 BBY) he was 19 and she was 24. The name resonated in young Anakin's heart and soul.
