It'll ping off a tower somewhere if you use the Force.” While
Jedi Master Yoda is another Jedi who is still alive thanks to his appearances in the original trilogy.
Obi-Wan Kenobi, the Disney+ series, is a Star Wars spin-off, telling the tale of the master Jedi, played by Ewan McGregor. But it is missing an important character of the franchise and that is Yoda.
Shortly after the ship left Naboo, it flung two small escape pods in opposite directions along the Outer Rim. One carried Jedi Master Yoda toward the uninviting and uninhabited swamp planet of Dagobah; the other carried Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and a wailing infant boy in the direction of Tatooine.
Ahsoka, Anakin and Obi-Wan briefly met again before Order 66, intending to hunt down Maul together, but Anakin and Obi-Wan were called back to rescue Chancellor Palpatine. This would be the last Ahsoka would ever see either of them as friends.
But Ahsoka finally meets Darth Vader face-to-face in the Season 2 finale. In the two-part episode, “Twilight of the Apprentice,” Ahsoka accompanies Kanan and Ezra on a journey to Malachor.
Canonically Darth Vader knew Ahsoka was still alive after Order 66, so why didn't the Inquisitorius know of her survival in Tales of the Jedi?
Grand Master Yoda encountered the specter of Darth Bane during the Clone Wars. During the war, Jedi Grand Master Yoda ventured to Moraband on a journey to discover the secrets of immortality. He entered Bane's tomb and encountered a fiery vision of the ancient Dark Lord.
McGregor explained that his character "can't reach out to any of the surviving Jedi for fear of giving himself away."
Yoda claims to have been training Jedi for 800 years. The second time Yoda mentions his long life is in Return of the Jedi, when he tells Luke, “When you reach 900 years old, you will not look as good as you will.” If we take Yoda at his word, that means the Jedi Master died at the ripe old age of 900.
In the original Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi screenplay, Obi-Wan did have a brother, and it was none other than Owen Lars (Joel Edgerton)—Luke Skywalker's step-uncle and Anakin's step-brother.
In the story, we learn that Obi-Wan took on the name Ben because it's a nickname given to him by an old flame, the Duchess Satine Kryze. He takes on the name because it still has emotional resonance for him.
Yoda held Obi-Wan in high esteem and trained him when he was a young boy, prior to Obi-Wan becoming Qui-Gon Jinn's apprentice. Obi-Wan deeply respected Yoda and obeyed him usually without question.
Yoda held the title of Grand Master of the Jedi Order since the days of the High Republic Era. At some point, Yoda took on a human named Kantam Sy as his Padawan.
By the end of The Rise of Skywalker, Rey had become the last known Jedi of the Skywalker Saga. With all that being said, Rey was not left as the last remaining Force-sensitive character.
Thousands of Jedi throughout the galaxy were killed, including Ki-Adi-Mundi on Mygeeto, Aayla Secura on Felucia, Plo Koon in the skies of Cato Neimoidia, Stass Allie on Saleucami, Depa Billaba on Kaller, Jaro Tapal in the Bracca system, and even Jedi younglings.
Master Yoda failed Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones, and it resulted in the destruction of the Jedi Order. Master Yoda is one of the most revered characters in the Star Wars universe, and for good reason, but he ultimately failed in stopping the rise of the Sith.
The Jedi are powerful, but they are not universally well-skilled... Yoda would not necessarily be a good enough pilot to even make it to Vader. Not to mention that, on Dagobah, Yoda doesn't appear to have the resources to mount such an attack, even by himself.
It's the name of a Jedi Master and a character that could impact the future of the franchise. For those unaware, the name spoken by Ewan McGregor's Kenobi was Quinlan Vos, a Kiffar Jedi Master who served in the Clone Wars.
1 Darth Sidious
There has been no Sith, as powerful, meticulous, nor as evil as the Emperor himself, Darth Sidious. As previously mentioned, Sidious trained in the Dark Side by Darth Plagueis before Sidious killed Plagueis in his sleep, making Sidious a Sith Master.
According to Star Wars Legends content, the first Sith was a former Jedi Master, Ajunta Pall, who became a so-called Dark Jedi, or “Fallen” Jedi. As the name implies, these Force-sensitives chose to practice the Dark Side, and rejected the Light Side of the Force.
More than anyone she understood the danger the Jedi faced that day. She also knew how few friends they had left on the planet. While we don't know the exact timeline of events in regards to Order 66, Padmé, and Grogu, she is the most likely person to have ordered the Naboo Royal Security Forces to help the Jedi.
Anakin had always struggled with abandonment even though he had left his mother willingly. Seeing Ahsoka leave was like a blow to the heart and his fear of loss is what Yoda and Obi-Wan feared would get the better of him. Years later, his spectre appears to Ahsoka and blames her for his turn to the dark side.
Ahsoka technically died twice, and on both occasions Anakin was directly involved - and even responsible for one of these deaths. Still, Anakin's Padawan ultimately outlived him, and has returned in The Mandalorian era to...
