Sayuri's first plane trip occurs when she goes to a party on an island with Nobu, the Chairman, and a greasy old Minister. Here, Sayuri sleeps with the Minister to stop Nobu from being interested in her. For her whole career, she has been the object of sex at the expense of others.
As Dr. Crab rapes Sayuri, Sayuri tries to mentally flee from herself and her body. In essence, the rape forces Sayuri to distance and alienate her mind from her body.
The story ends with Sayuri recounting her subsequent life with the Chairman as her dana, and her eventual retirement as a geisha. She never freely admits that she has a son with the Chairman, but speaks of moving to New York City in order to avoid complications regarding inheritance of Iwamura Electric.
He confesses his feelings for Sayuri, that he always knew of her identity but refused to interfere with Nobu's feelings out of respect, and that he himself arranged for Mameha to become her mentor. Sayuri is finally able to confess her love to the Chairman and they share a kiss.
Chiyo, now called Sayuri professionally, undergoes a mizuage, when her virginity is sold to Dr. Crab, who collects blood samples from virgins he has deflowered. But by the novel's end, Sayuri is one of the most renowned geisha of her time. Dig deeper into the moment.

One of the reasons that the two sisters never reconnect is because Sayuri never again tries to escape the bonds of being a geisha. Even in the end, when she moves to New York, she's still the Chairman's mistress.
Sayuri's beloved older sister. Since Satsu is not as pretty or as clever as Sayuri, Mr. Tanaka sells her to a brothel instead of an okiya. Satsu despises life as a prostitute, so she runs away to her home village where she reunites with her boyfriend.

Pumpkin's big moment is when she betrays Sayuri by bringing the Chairman instead of Nobu to "accidentally" see her have sex with the Minister.

Crab and the Baron. Dr. Crab wins, if you can call it that, with a record-breaking bid of 11,500 yen, "Much more than, say, a laborer might have earned in a year" (24.8). Mother's adoption of Sayuri takes place the next week, and with it, a new last name.
From the statement above, it is proved that Sayuri got unwanted touching and force to undress herself because it can be said that Baron wanted to rape her. Sayuri did not want to have a sexual interaction with Baron but Baron wanted to have it with Sayuri, he tried to undress her.
To inflame a doctor's lust for Sayuri (for the impending bidding war for her virginity), Mameha intentionally cuts Sayuri's leg high on her thigh (off camera).
Even though most geisha are cynical when it comes to finding love, Sayuri keeps the Chairman's handkerchief in the sleeve of her kimono every day as a reminder of his kindness and the possibility of love.
Ultimately, Sayuri retires and relocates to New York City, where she operates a tea room. The novel states Sayuri was nine years old in 1929, and made her first of several trips to New York in 1952. Therefore, we know the narration of the novel takes place when Sayuri is at least 32 years old.
A man in love with Sayuri, Nobu spends much of the novel trying to get Sayuri to become his personal geisha.
The movie opens in 1929 in Japan, where a poor fisherman whose wife is dying sells his two daughters to a geisha house in Kyoto. Separated from her sister and family forever, 9-year-old Chiyo is groomed to become a top geisha.
Their role is often misunderstood by those not of Japanese descent. Geisha are not prostitutes, in the past, the right to take the virginity of a Geisha (mizuage) was sold by the Geisha house. In reality, it was more a sponsorship for the Maiko's training, which was really expensive.
Today there are only about 1,000 geisha in Japan. They can be found in several major cities including Tokyo, and Kanazawa but most of them work in Kyoto. They are often attending gatherings at tea houses and ryoutei —a kind of luxurious Japanese restaurant.
