So, Which One is Better? Genie Plus is certainly a more all-inclusive way to get through the parks. But when it comes to specific in-demand attractions, Genie Plus might let you down. If you want the absolute best experience, we recommend using a combination of Genie Plus and the Individual Lightning Lanes.
Walt Disney World Genie Plus is the current iteration of the original FastPass system. Typically this paid FastPass service does not sell out at Walt Disney World though it has happened during the busiest seasons.

Yes! While you can't book more than one Genie+ reservation at once, you can hold multiple Genie+ reservations at a time by utilizing the 120 Minute Rule. This is called Genie+ stacking.
Yes. The Genie 120-minute rule says that you can always make a new reservation if two hours have passed since you made the last one, or two hours since park opening if you made the reservation before the park opened.
So how many Disney guests actually use the service? In the Quarter 3 Earnings Call, Bob Chapek said that close to 50% of park guests purchase Genie+. “Even our Genie product, which we released short of a year ago, now about 50% of the people who come through the gate, buy up to that Genie product,” Chapek said.

Genie+ Tip: As we mentioned before, the earliest Genie+ has sold out has been around 10am. If you purchase Genie+ early in the morning (especially before 7 am), you'll be able to get it before it sells out even during the busy seasons.

The main difference difference between the 2 is cost: The virtual queue is free, but the Individual Lightning Lane will vary in cost per person (depending on the time of year).
