Roronoa Zoro, popularly known as the Pirate Hunter in the One Piece World, got the legendary black blade Shusui from the zombie of Shimotsuki Ryuma, a legendary samurai from the country of Wano, in episode 362 of the One Piece anime, titled “Slashes Dancing on the Roof!
After Oden's death, Enma was inherited by his daughter, Kozuki Hiyori, who would later gift the sword to Zoro in exchange for the latter allowing Shusui, a national treasure, to remain in Wano.
Either a) by the same logic Shusui is technically a grade weaker than Enma, Zoro would still have a weaker blade in Enma than Mihawk's Yoru and WB's Murakumogiri, both blackened Saijo O Wazamono swords, which should be stronger than blackening an O Wazamono sword like Enma.
After Zoro defeated him, Ryuma gave the sword to him in hopes of satisfying the sword. Due to its association with Ryuma, Shusui is considered the national treasure of Wano Country.
Zoro was based off of Ryuma because of the one off series monster. It doesn't mean they are related. It doesn't mean they aren't related though either.
They have many similarities but Ryuma died way before Zoro was born. Its possible that Zoro is Ryuma's descendant though.
Wado Ichimonji is one of the strongest swords in the world and was crafted by a master swordsmith, Shimotsuki Kozaburo. Kozaburo crafted the sword and left Wano, settling in East Blue a few years later. Zoro inherited the sword from his master after vowing to become the strongest swordsman in the world.
Shusui was later stolen by Gyukimaru, who returned it to Ryuma's grave. In order to have Shusui remain in Wano Country, Kozuki Hiyori offered her own Great Grade sword, Enma, to Zoro as a replacement for Shusui, a proposal that Zoro accepted.
Zoro's Strongest Swords in One Piece - Wado Ichimonji, Shusui, and Enma. Zoro has been wielding a sword since time immemorial, and he has owned a fair share of them. The strongest of these swords are the Wado Ichimonji, Shusui, and Enma.
Enma is a ō wazomono blade like shusui but shusui is already a black blade which was turned by Ryuma so it could have reached it's potential while Enma is still a normal blade and if Marimo turns it into a black blade, It will become a Saijo ō Wazomono (12 supreme blades) hence becoming stronger.
Zoro has used a total of seven different swords since being introduced. Zoro used two unnamed swords alongside Wado Ichimonji up until they were shattered in his fight with Mihawk near the Baratie.
It was only destroyed due to rusting power of Shu's Sabi Sabi no Mi. When used by Zoro, Yubashiri was one of the three swords for his Three Sword Style style and it was typically used along with Sandai Kitetsu in his Two Sword Style techniques. When the sword was destroyed, Zoro replaced it with Shusui.
Zoro's Sword, Shusui, Belongs In Wano
Alongside his swords, Wado Ichimonji and Sandai Kitetsu, Zoro's sword Shusui has been with him since the events on Thriller Bark. Notoriously powerful, Shusui is also one of only two confirmed Black Blades in the One Piece world, the other being Dracule Mihawk's Yoru.
One of the theorist said that all 3 kitetsu swords (Sendai Kitetsu, Nidai Kitetsu, Shodai Kitetsu) are meant to zoro. These 3 swords are cursed and they are searching for their real owner which is zoro that's why the past owner of each swords are all dead becuse they can't manage to handle the curse of the sword.
The Wado Ichimonji is a sword of great personal importance to Roronoa Zoro, and it once belonged to Kuina and her family. It is also one of the 21 Great Grade swords. After Kuina's death, Zoro asked for it from her father, who then gave the sword to him.
Along with Wado Ichimonji and Sandai Kitetsu, Shusui once again completes Zoro's three swords.
Being of the lowest grade of the three swords, Sandai Kitetsu is the weakest of all the Kitetsu swords. Its name also indicates it was the last of the three to be made. The panel of Zoro keeping Sandai Kitetsu in the manga is extremely similar to that of Zoro keeping Enma.
3/5 Wado Ichimonji
Wado Ichimonji is the first named sword that Roronoa Zoro carried in One Piece. It was forged by Shimotsuki Kozaburou, a person from Wano Country. This sword once belonged to Koushiro, the dojo master of Zoro from Shimotsuki village, and was meant to be inherited by Kuina, his daughter.
During Zoro's very first usage of the Asura Style against Kaku, he used a technique called the "Demon Aura Nine Sword Style: Asura Ichibugin," and this technique was quite incredible in itself.
Sengoku adopted Donquixote Rocinante (Corazon) as his son after the death of his biological father by the hand of his brother.
Introduction. Roronoa Senshi is the twin sister of pirate hunter Roronoa Zoro She was a wanderer for a long time, drifting from island to island in search of her brother before circumstances led to her becoming a pirate.
Although Zoro already had the ability to use Haki since he trained under Mihawk during the two-year timeskip, he was able to draw out a higher level of Ryuo from his body in the Wano Country arc, thanks to Enma. A special sword, Enma is known to draw Haki from the body of the wielder against their will.
