Unfortunately, not all of these elite warriors make it out of the series alive, and none of them make it to the end in one piece. The manga for
There are nine total active Hashira in the anime. Each Hashira has their own region to patrol, as well as their own unique style, Breathing Technique, and abilities.
Mitsuri had already entered the battle with grave injuries, so Obanai forced her on the sidelines so she wouldn't get hurt anymore. Obanai and Tanjiro defeated Muzan. Unfortunately, the Serpent Hashira succumbed to his injuries. He and Mitsuri confessed their love and died together shortly after.
The future descendants of the Hashira have all returned and are living lives that their original versions would have never expected, and even Urokodaki's former apprentices Makomo and Sabito are now living lives as children.
However, the arrival of Akaza at the end of Mugen Train necessitated the Flame-Breathing Hashira's death.
The Water Hashira, Giyu, survived the "Infinity Castle" arc after fighting beside Tanjiro against Akaza and Muzan.
5 Hashiras who end up dying in Demon Slayer (and how it happens)
So far, the only Hashira we meet in the Demon Slayer series who has died is the Flame Hashira Kyōjurō Rengoku. Although he isn't the first of the elite squad to get to know Tanjiro, he is one of the first, and he accepts Nezuko and won't kill her despite the fact that she's a demon.
Tanjiro decapitates Akaza with the Hinokami Kagura: Setting Sun Transformation. Akaza was bewildered, wondering how Tanjiro did not have any fighting spirit, comparing this feeling to fighting against a plant. He acknowledges that Tanjiro surpassed his speed.
As a result, Tengen Uzui has to deal with the moniker of being the least powerful Hashira around. Of course, that's not the worst thing in the world, as all Hashira are strong. He's still incredibly powerful and can give any demon a run for their money.
Without a doubt, the flamboyant Tengen Uzui is physically the fastest Hashira in the Demon Slayer Corps. His sound breathing technique is a derivative of thunder breathing, one of the quickest breathing styles. He was fast enough to keep up with Daki without any difficulty.
Who was the first and last hashira? Goku isn't a hashira because he is the main character in a "Dragon Ball" and he is a Saiyan. As for the "first ever Hashira"...that is unknown. As for the "last ever Hashira"...that would be Shinazugawa-san as well as Tomioka-san.
We first see Doma when he is still the Upper Moon Six while he is in the middle of eating a geisha. Later he becomes even stronger and rises to the position of Upper Moon Two. He dies because of the lethal amount of poison he absorbed through Shinobu Kocho's body followed by Kanao Tsuyuri beheading him.
After various battles within the Dimensional Infinity Fortress the remaining Upper Moons are killed by the hands of various Demon Slayers. The last member, Upper Moon Four Nakime, ends up being killed by Muzan Kibutsuji himself to stop the Dimensional Infinity Fortress from being controlled by his enemies.
Well, you'd be delighted to know that Tengen Uzui doesn't die fighting against Gyutaro and Daki. However, the Sound Hashira does die in the manga, but that happens far in the future.
Over a century ago, Doma held the position of Upper Rank Six ( 上 じょう 弦 げん の 陸 ろく , Jōgen no Roku?), and during that tenure, he turned Gyutaro and Daki into demons and introduced them into the Twelve Kizuki.
9) Shinobu
When it comes to pure strength, Shinobu Kocho is the weakest Hashira in Demon Slayer. She doesn't even have enough strength to decapitate a demon's head and she makes up for it by injecting poison into the demons.
Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Hashira, put up a good fight against the Demon King. She gave everything she had and even lost both her arms during the fight. However, she didn't stay alive for quite long. She succumbed to her injuries and died shortly after.
Tanjiro and Nezuko return to their family home, accompanied by Zenitsu and Inosuke. Tanjiro marries fellow demon slayer Kanao Tsuyuri while Nezuko marries Zenitsu. In a modern-day epilogue, the descendants and reincarnations of the Corps members enjoy a peaceful life free of demons.
As the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro is his generation's most skilled Flame Breathing user. He became evidently proficient in fighting with this Breathing Style, being able to singlehandedly defeat former Lower Rank Two, Hairo and later hold his own against Upper Rank Three, Akaza.
The purpose of the Tsuguko is to take the place of the Hashira they serve, if and when said Hashira is put in a position where they can no longer fulfill their role as one of the champions of the Demon Slayer Corps, such as when the Hashira retires or dies.
Tanjiro is relieved to see Obanai and Mitsuri alive, while Muzan is both confused and livid at the fact the two Hashira that Nakime supposedly killed are still alive.
Kanao used the Final Form to defeat Doma, although it rendered her almost blind in her right eye. She later uses the technique once again to administer the demon antidote to Tanjiro.
