Removing the pubic hair, whether by plucking, using a depilatory agent, shaving or cutting, is one of the actions dictated by the
Praise and salutations to our beloved Prophet Muhammad PBUH, his family, companions, and all those who follow his footsteps until the Final day. Thus, in our opinion, cutting hair and clipping nails during menstruation or major hadas is not prohibited.
The short answer is no, it is not necessary to do anything to your pubic hair. Shaving your pubic hair is a personal choice. Pubic hair may help protect your genitalia from infection and friction. Removing your pubic hair comes with the risk of getting cuts or ingrown hairs.
As per the article's opening hadith, it is advised for Muslim men and women to remove pubic hair and armpit hair as a way to remain clean.
If you are on your periods
Newly shaved skin is prone to irritation, and constantly using the pad causes friction of the skin. So, there will be rashes, bumps and even one will feel pain down there. Try to wait till the periods get over.
It is not more hygienic to shave pubic hair. Some girls decide to remove it (as a personal preference) but there are no health benefits. In fact, there are risks associated with shaving your pubic hair including: razor burn (rash), redness, itching (from hair growing back), and infection in the hair root.

Abu Shaamah said: al-'aanah is the hair that grows on the rakab, which is what is underneath the bulge of the abdomen and above the private parts. Or it was said that it is the exterior of the private parts; or the private part itself, whether of a man or a woman.
Say “Bismillah” and wash your hands thoroughly three times. With your left hand, wash your private parts. Rub or pat all body parts with water, particularly your private areas after menstruation. Use musk or perfume to rid yourself of any lingering odours.
Marc Glashofer, a dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, claims that the texture of pubic hair tends to be thicker and more coarse than hair on the rest of our body because of its origins as a buffer. “It prevents friction during intercourse that can cause skin abrasion and rashes,” he says.
Exposing the intimate parts of the body is unlawful in Islam as the Quran instructs the covering of male and female genitals, and for adult females the breasts.
In our opinion, the original ruling of shaving leg hair for both men and women is permissible. The reason for this is that there is no commandment to shave it nor is there a prohibition to keep it.
Praise be to Allah. Cutting nails and shaving the pubic hair are not things that are obligatory for the fasting person in particular, but they are not things that go against fasting either. Rather the fasting person refrains from eating, drinking and having intercourse, which are things that invalidate the fast.
So, if waxing the private parts is done by anyone other than the lawfully married partner, it shall be definitely considered as sinful and therefore haram; so never even contemplate such an activity. All safe methods to remove unwanted hair from the body are permissible in Islam.
Pubic Hair Trends
According to the researchers, when asked if they removed their pubic hair, 80% of women and 39% of men removed their pubic hair near the time of the survey. Also, 3% of women and 21% of men had never removed their pubic hair.
To keep the pubic area smooth and hairless, you'll need to shave regularly, even daily. Consider if this is worth the trouble; it may become tedious after four or five weeks.
This is not part of the Sunan al-Fitrah, but if there are too many hairs then they should be removed, so that they do not get contaminated with any impurity when using the toilet.
There's really no right or wrong age for kids to begin shaving. It all depends on when their body changes and their interest level. For instance, some girls start puberty as young as age 8 or 9, while boys start puberty a little later.
We must bathe at least once a day and we must do Wudu before our prayers. We should also wash and dry ourselves properly everytime we use the toilet and remember to wash and clean our hands. We know how easily germs spread from our very own hands to our bodies as well as to other people.

"The major concern with shaving is cutting oneself — but as long as you don't get cut, there's not much harm," Dr. Minkin said.
