Nearly all families with kids qualify. Some income limitations apply. For example, only couples making less than $150,000 and single parents (also called Head of Household) making less than $112,500 will qualify for the additional 2021 Child Tax Credit amounts.

The maximum rate for each child per fortnight is: $197.96 for a child 0 to 12 years. $257.46 for a child 13 to 15 years. $257.46 for a child 16 to 19 years who meets the study requirements.

To qualify for this benefit, a child must be unmarried, dependent on the parent, and one of the following must apply: Younger than age 18. 18-19 years old and a full-time student (no higher than grade 12). 18 or older with a disability that began before age 22.
Child Benefit can help you with the costs of your children. It's usually paid every 4 weeks. If you're eligible you'll get £21.80 a week for your first child and £14.45 a week for any children after that.
The benefit includes both a base component and a working component, with combined benefits to a maximum of $5,120. The maximum base component ranges from $1,330 to $3,325 depending on the number of children. You may be entitled to: $1,330 for the first qualified dependant.
The Canada child benefit (CCB) is administered by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). It is a tax-free monthly payment made to eligible families to help with the cost of raising children under 18 years of age.
You normally qualify for Child Benefit if you're responsible for a child under 16 (or under 20 if they stay in approved education or training) and you live in the UK.
For the 2021-22 financial year, it's a payment of up to $383.25 per family. For the 2022-23 financial year, it's a payment of up to $397.85 per family. The amount we'll pay you depends on: if you share care.

Parental allowance
During parental leave, you will not receive a salary from your employer. However, you can apply for parental allowance, a form of financial support from the government that compensates you if you temporarily work less or not at all after the birth of your child.
Monthly $300 payments are in the works for California families struggling to make ends meet. The IRS begins the roll-out of the Child Tax Credit on July 15 as part of the American Rescue Plan. Qualifying households will receive up to $3,600 annually per child, which will benefit families across the state.
The United States federal child tax credit (CTC) is a partially-refundable tax credit for parents with dependent children. It provides $2,000 in tax relief per qualifying child, with up to $1,400 of that refundable (subject to a refundability threshold, phase-in and phase-out).
Enhanced child tax credit

You may have to pay the High Income Child Benefit Charge if you or your partner have an individual income that's over £50,000 and either: you or your partner get Child Benefit. someone else gets Child Benefit for a child living with you and they contribute at least an equal amount towards the child's upkeep.
Based on CCB payments in 2021, you could receive a maximum of: $6,833 per year ($569.41 per month) for each eligible child under the age of 6. $5,765 per year ($480.41 per month) for each eligible child aged 6 to 17.
You can choose to keep your Child Benefit payments. If your income is between £50,000 and £60,000, you'll still get the amount you qualify for. Even if you're earning over £60,000, if you put your Child Benefit aside in a savings account, you can earn interest on the money before you have to pay your tax bill.

Scottish Child Payment helps towards the costs of supporting your family. It's a weekly payment of £25 that you can get for every child you look after who's under 16 years of age. You'll get the payment every 4 weeks if your application is successful.
In 2021, the amount per child per month is: 55.75 euros for children aged 0 to 5 years; 67.75 euros for children aged 6 to 11 years; 79.75 euros per quarter for children from 12 to 17 years.
The Scottish Child Payment is for parents or carers on low incomes who have a child under 16. It's a payment of £25 a week for each child under 16.
