Victorian dairy exports 2021-22
Victoria remained Australia's highest value dairy exporter, accounting for 73 per cent of total national dairy exports by value in 2021-22. Milk and cream were the largest dairy exports, valued at $1.3 billion in 2021-22 and up 27 per cent on the previous year.
Dairy Farmers Pty Ltd, originally established in 1900, whose parent company is Australian-owned Bega Cheese, is distributed mainly New South Wales and Queensland in Australia.
