Very good show, has a lot of violence
It was a pretty violent show but is not as gory as other animes. I think it deserves it's MA15+ but would be okay for some children if they are mature and have watched other animes. And besides the anime is not that graphic in violence.
Eirin rated the “Demon Slayer” movie “PG12,” which denotes the need for parental “advice and guidance” for those under age 12.

If you watch Japanese animation (anime), you might realise that they often sexualise children and women. This objectification, however, is not limited to children and women, but men as well. Child fetishes, unrealistic portrayals of kids/women/men, and perverted character tropes have become a norm in anime.
The main antagonist of the series, Muzan Kibutsuji, is an all-powerful demon who leads the Twelve Kizuki. His powers include demon conversion, shape-shifting and blood empowerment, which is what makes his Twelve Kizuki more powerful than most demons.

Perfect for tweens-teens. Although adults will enjoy it, too. It has such a good and deep plot, and has stayed good even over the span of 900+ episodes, although the animation quality has decreased, I'll admit.
Hoshiko Kibutsuji. The first female demon [of a different orgin], and the younger sister to Muzan Kibutsuji. She loves her brother and was the one who had attacked that man who wore the hanafuda earrings.
The first demon that is said to have existed was Muzan Kibutsuji. The one who turned him into a demon was a generous doctor from the Heian Period, who wanted to save Muzan from death since, at the time, he was diagnosed with a disease which would kill him before he turned twenty.
For those who have watched only the first season of the anime, they will be surprised to know that Muzan turns into a woman in the second season. He keeps transforming in order to hide his true identity, and he's even known to change into an 11-year-old child to hide from Demon slayers.
