Even though he hates Goku, Vegeta and
Freiza of course fears the destroyer as he is a deity and demands respect with his immense power. Beerus also displays some respect for Frieza's power when he is shocked by the news of his defeat, a fact that Whis tells him when researching Saiyans.
Majin Buu and Lord Beerus are the Only Two Fighters Frieza Fears, but Maybe Not Anymore. Lord Beerus is a Destroyer God who has the power to eliminate planets without breaking a sweat and can even collapse the entire universe if he's fighting at full strength.
To pay them their respects, Beerus begins calling his fighters by their name instead of various nicknames he has for them. The prime examples of this are Krillin, Gohan, Master Roshi, and Piccolo, all of whom are acknowledged by Beerus upon their defeat.
By the end of the Tournament of Power, despite still being openly as evil and selfish as ever, Frieza has come to respect Goku and his allies, and willingly celebrates with them for a little bit as well after being revived by Whis.
6 Frieza: Hates Goku
The fact that Frieza hates Goku just because of his race means that Goku and his family won't ever be completely safe until Frieza is once again trapped in the pits of Earth's Hell.
However, despite Frieza ultimately playing a key role during the Tournament of Power to save the universe, the resurrected villain is still far from a genuine redemption, with his new lease on life confirming Frieza's expected commitment to evil.
However, Beerus is extremely terrified of Zeno, in a manner very similar to how the Kais and other gods are scared of Beerus himself. He has a fearful respect of the Omni-King(s), to the point where he will headbutt through his own table to bow to him.
Shenron is often nervous around Beerus, trying to be overly respectful. When the eternal dragon is summoned by Goku on the Princess Bulma, he instantly becomes nervous when he sees Beerus there. For the rest of the conversation, Shenron addresses Beerus with honorifics and acts very humble toward him.
Beerus was afraid Beerus would cause Xeno to destroy his universe, not of Jiren himself. He was scared Goku would lose.
Beerus was particularly non-evil when he played a part in saving Earth after Frieza destroyed it, by allowing Whis to use his Temporal Do-Over. Naturally he had selfish motives for being nice ─ like having Goku around instead of Frieza and his love for Earth's food.
Unfortunately, the difference in power between Beerus and Frieza is immense, meaning that there's simply no way that Frieza can overthrow this permanent thorn in his side.
However, despite their defiance, Beerus elected not to destroy the Saiyans himself. However, as he disliked the Saiyans evil ways and King Vegeta's stinginess, he decided to mark their civilization for destruction, which he left up to his Agent of Destruction, the Galactic Emperor Frieza.
The only beings Freiza has any respect for are his father, King Cold, and his siblings. They are freakishly strong like he is and share enough history that he has developed the kind of respect for them that a child is forced to adopt when their family is strict and abusive.
Vegeta has seemingly been queued up to be Lord Beerus' replacement as the new God of Destruction, but Beerus' real successor is actually Lord Frieza.
As the main character, Goku eventually surpassing Beerus is all but guaranteed. After all, Goku's journey is one of encountering and overcoming obstacles. It was demonstrated with Demon King Piccolo, then Frieza, then Kid Buu.
Monaka was initially described as being a hero of his home world planet, Wagashi. At some point in his past, he was said to have fought against the God of Destruction Beerus. He managed to cause Beerus trouble, which makes him later claim Monaka as the strongest fighter he's ever faced.
It is Goku. I think this becomes absolutely clear in the Anime. He uses Monaka as a bluff to motivate GOKU his most strongest foe to gain even more power so that he can actually fight Beerus close to his full strength.
Appearances. Beerus awakens from a 39-year sleep and goes in search of a Super Saiyan God whom he saw in his dream, his search bringing him to Goku whom he easily defeats despite his opponent being in Super Saiyan 3 form.
In the early days of Dragon Ball, there existed a being strong enough to beat the God of Destruction Lord Beerus, but Goku accidentally killed him.
In a nutshell: "Birusu" is the straight Romanization of Beerus's name. Early plot details of the movie established Beerus as a virus-like entity that originally infected the Saiyans with evil. But when Toriyama came on board, he thought "Birusu" was a pun on "beers" and named his assistant "Whis", a pun on "whiskey".
Frieza: 150, While often doing 'dumb' things, like attacking GOD Toppo in base form, he is still very smart, being able to manipulate very well and always planning evil stuff, just like building his army as well and making people believe stuff that's not true and betraying them.
Dragon Ball Super's co-author, Toyotarou, explains the design of Frieza's new, terrifying form: Black Frieza. According to the mangaka, the name of the form comes from the world of banking, which perfectly suits the character of Frieza, a ruthless conqueror who has built a galactic empire.
