When
Giyu also states how he feels about Shinobu, saying he thinks she is both hardworking and serious, along with stating that she talks to him a lot and mentions she looks pale, implying he might be worried about it. Shinobu believes that he should talk more, according to her section.
When Shinobu's death was released and announced by the crow, you could read Giyuu's thoughts easily as it was literally shown on his face. It was more heartbreaking for him to see probably the only pillar, who he considered a close friend die.
Full name: Giyu Tomioka. Age: 28.
Giyu's inferiority complex and survivor's guilt. Beneath his seemingly unemotional and aloof attitude, Giyu suffers from an inferiority complex which he developed since his participation in Final Selection.
When he was still a child, his sister sacrificed herself to protect him from the Demons. Younger Giyu with Sabito. After the death of Tsutako, Giyu tried to tell others that she was killed by a Demon, however, he was labeled as mentally ill and was sent away to one of his relatives, a doctor.
Yae ( 八 や 重 え , Yae?) is a young woman who joins Giyu Tomioka on his travels in Giyu Tomioka's Story after her father Matazo transforms into a demon.
Unfortunately, manifesting his Mark in the battle against Akaza also doomed Giyu to die by his 25th birthday, taking the air out of the sils of his survival.
Giyu would still instruct Tanjiro to train to become a Demon Slayer with Urokodaki. As there is no Nezuko, Tanjiro would have no reason to pity demons, and he'll be much more harsh that he would be if Nezuko was alive.
Giyuu survives the fight with muzan(yes that happens, in his own castle). Together he and tanjiro battle akaza and defeat him. He is very much alive at the end of the battle.
When Giyu later hears about Shinobu's death, he suddenly recalls her smiling face while being visibly shocked and upset by the news. This contrasts to his reaction to death of his other fellow Demon Slayers such as Kyojuro Rengoku, Muichiro Tokito and Genya Shinazugawa, whom he didn't react to as emotionally.
Shinobu confessed her love to Guiyu. in episode 18 of Demon Slayer, Shinobu shows her liking to Guiyu.
Shinobu says "Tsuki ga kirei desu ne?" which means "the moon is lovely tonight" which is basically a way of confession in Japanese literature or something along the lines of that.
If fans need any more proof of Giyu's love for Sabito, they don't need to look any further than the multi-colored kimono he wears into battle.
Shinobu and Giyuu are not implied to be a couple, but there's a healthy portion of the fandom who read a little more into their combative interactions. Some even believe that Giyuu and Shinobu embody a bickering couple who are beyond comfortable with each other.
In Demon Slayer episode 23, “Hashira Meeting,” one of the Hashiras, Sanemi Shinazugawa, hated demons so much he wanted to provoke Nezuko into attacking so he could kill her. He even stabbed her multiple time in front of her bound brother Tanjirou.
And the Wind Hashira, Sanemi Shinazugawa, draws his sword against Nezuko…
He was the best friend of The water hashira, Tomioka. He died saving Giyuu. Sabito was indeed a strong demon hunter and if he was alive, he would definetely be stronger than Giyu and be at the level of Gyomei. He was killed by the Hand Demon, as shown in the anime and manga.
The Wind Hashira has one of the saddest backstories in Demon Slayer. His mother had turned into a demon and had killed five of his siblings. He was forced to kill his own mother in an attempt to save his only remaining brother, Genya.
Unfortunately, many fan-favorite characters didn't survive in Demon Slayer, and the Hashira certainly weren't an exception. Demon Slayer's nine Hashira are humanity's last line of defense against the vicious demons that rule the night.
In fan interpretation, Sanemi is often depicted as smitten with Kanae, and too frightened to make the first move, fearing she might reject him.
It is confirmed in the Volume 23 extras that Inosuke and Aoi did eventually end up together and that they have two great-grandsons, one of which is Aoba.
After the battle, Tanjiro returns home with his sister and friends. Later it is revealed that he married fellow slayer Kanao Tsuyuri.
