Goku is much stronger, but Spongebob's broken regeneration wouldn't give him the win. So Goku's two main wincons here are either using hakai or bring Spongebob to the surface so he can be dryed up.
Sure. Goku has much greater stats, power, forms, and combat experience/skills, but SpongeBob has much better abilities, arsenal, and hax's that he can win in many scenarios himself.
