Faith That God Exists Normally we don't see God, but you can feel His Spirit. He wants you to get to know Him by reading the scriptures and having faith in Him. If you have faith in Him, you won't have to see Him to know who He is and that He exists.
Actively Seek Him
Look for God in every situation daily. Whether it is big or small, look for him. If you are just walking down the street, look for the beautiful things he has made. When you are with your friends or family, thank him for putting those people in your life.
"We can't see God because it's easy for you to see somebody and believe he or she is real. God wants us to be strong and not see but still believe and for us to have faith in him."
The Substantive view locates the image of God in shared characteristics between God and humanity such as rationality or morality. A Relational understanding argues that the image is found in human relationships with God and each other.
We're told to look for God in many places—in the scriptures, in our daily prayers, in our weekly worship—but God is everywhere. His presence surrounds us. Once we realize this, we can begin to learn how to find Him in our daily lives.
The experiences of prophets who saw God face-to-face are recorded in Genesis 32:30; Exodus 33:11; Ether 12:38–39; Moses 7:2–4; Abraham 3:11; and Joseph Smith—History 1:15–17.
God is said to be the one “who alone possesses unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see” (I Timothy 6:16). We read about “the King, eternal, immortal, invisible” (I Timothy 1:17), “seeing Him who is unseen” (Hebrews 11:27). There is a reference to “His invisible attributes” (Romans 1:20).
He created people out of love for the purpose of sharing love. People were created to love God and each other. Additionally, when God created people, he gave them good work to do so that they might experience God's goodness and reflect his image in the way they care for the world and for each other.
Exodus 20:4-5 says, "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them." Angels see, and so do believers in heaven.
For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 18:10). Angels see the face of God. They are spirits. They do not have eyeballs or retinas, but they see the face of God.
We are reminded here that not only does God hide his face from us sometimes, but God also hid his face from his own Son.
Our Bodies Are Temples of God
One of the great blessings we received when we came to earth was a physical body. We need a physical body to become like our Heavenly Father. Our bodies are so important that the Lord calls them temples of God (see 1 Corinthians 3:16–17; 6:19–20). Our bodies are holy.
However, according to experts who interpret dreams, dreaming about God could often mean that you are looking at your life journey so far. You could either be happy about the success you have achieved or be sad about something you haven't been able to achieve.
Trinitarians believe that God is composed of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. A deity, or "god" (with lowercase g), refers to a supernatural being. Monotheism is the belief that there is only one deity, referred to as ''God'' (with uppercase g).
When the people of Israel were enslaved in Egypt, they cried out to God for deliverance. Then God answered their cry, using the expression “I am who I am” (Exod 3:14) to introduce himself as their deliverer.
Adam is the name given in Genesis 1-5 to the first human. Beyond its use as the name of the first man, adam is also used in the Bible as a pronoun, individually as "a human" and in a collective sense as "mankind".
Jesus died as you, so you could live as Him. Through the death and miraculous resurrection of Jesus Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in your life, God sees Jesus when he sees you. There are many reasons to praise God, both found in scripture and out of our personal experience with Him.
You are a child of God; His own special people created to live a pure, faithful life. “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10.
Their Eyes Were Watching God illustrates how no human pursuits—for love, money, or self-worth—can stand against God or the forces of nature.
The Bible says, “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account” (Hebrews 4:13). Think about that a moment.
Fifteen hundred years after Noah's great flood, King Solomon was receiving some advice from his father, King David, who said this, ” … for the Lord searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts” 1 Chronicles 28:9. In other words, “Be aware of what's in your head, son. God sees it.”
Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth.
Any change in our nature wouldn't help us see God, because it would take a change in His (invisible) nature. God the Son, Jesus, is different. At the incarnation, Jesus took on human flesh and He became the God/man. That is the reason why you will be able to see Jesus and not the Father.
