Research shows that what a woman eats during pregnancy not only nourishes her baby in the womb, but may shape food preferences later in life. At 21 weeks after conception, a developing baby weighs about as much as a can of Coke — and he or she can taste it, too.
Five of the women who had described increased fetal movement with hunger (26.3%) described a notable period of quieting following a meal which they interpreted as their baby being sated and content. The remaining two described a continuation of the increased activity after eating that had been noted with hunger.

Sound can travel through your body and reach your baby. Very loud noises may be able to damage your baby's hearing. Ear plugs or earmuffs do not protect your baby's hearing. If you're pregnant the only way to protect your baby's hearing is to stay away from loud noise.
Intermittent fasting is generally not recommended to women during pregnancy.
Gaining enough pregnancy weight is the major signal that you're eating enough to support your baby's needs. Depending on your pre-pregnancy weight, most normal-weight women should aim to tack on between 25 and 35 pounds. After the first trimester, gaining about one pound per week is advised.

Try adding some extra fiber to your dinner. Because your body digests fiber slowly, it will keep you full for longer. Fruits, vegetables, and whole grains like whole-wheat pasta are high in fiber – and have the added perk of helping prevent pregnancy constipation.
Three small, but balanced, meals and three light snacks throughout the day are a good rule of thumb to ensure you and your baby's nutritional needs are met.
