The first step is to let God know that you need him and want His help. Second, ask God for His direction and for strength to stand firm in His promises. We often need help because of our past choices and sin. Ask God to help you focus on his compassion and grace to lift you out of your despair and heart ache.
Prayer in a Time of Disaster
Surround us now with your grace and peace through storm or earthquake, fire or flood. By your Spirit, lift up those who have fallen, sustain those who work to rescue or rebuild, and fill us with the hope of your new creation; through Jesus Christ, our rock and redeemer.

One of the most powerful times to fight against the enemy, is the midnight hours. Midnight prayer is the prayer done from 12am to around 3am. This is the hour when the powers of darkness gather to take decisions and carry out their nefarious acts against their victims.
Jesus said, absolutely not. Our heavenly Father is nothing like the judge in the parable (Luke 18:6-8). God never grows weary of listening to his children. In fact, Jesus told us to keep on asking, keep on seeking, and keep on knocking (Matthew 7:7, AMP).

Father, please come and calm my mind and still my thoughts with truth and life. You are all that I need, for here I can lean into you and find rest. Lord, guard my mind, fill it with heavenly hope and my soul with a peace that surpass understanding. I pray for good news, news that brings release and freedom for me.
