Did you lose an AirPod or your Charging Case? You can buy a replacement for a left or right AirPod or the Charging Case. Your replacement will be new. AppleCare+ for Headphones does not cover lost or stolen AirPods.
You can turn on the Find My network to see the location of some AirPods models even when they're out of range from your device. If the Find My network is turned off (or if your AirPods don't support the Find My network), the Find My app shows the last time and place they were connected.
Because the AirPods are out of battery, it won't be able to transmit the signal needed to display its location. However, you can still use the Find My app to find its last known location and place it in Lost Mode in case it's found by someone else.
About Find My. Find My is the only way that you can track or locate a lost or missing device. There is no other Apple service that can find, track, or otherwise flag your device for you. "Track" the AirPods? If they're lost, then the distance from you doesn't matter. If you mean how far they can be from the device used to supply their signal, then that is the standard Bluetooth distance which is about 40 feet (10 meters).
