The difference is that, when extra heartbeats in the upper and lower chambers are the cause of abnormal rhythm, symptoms may feel like an initial skip or hard thumping beat followed by a racing heart. When anxiety is the trigger, heart rate typically increases steadily rather than suddenly.
Although chest pain is common to both a panic attack and a heart attack, the characteristics of the pain often differ. On the other hand, physical heart problems can contribute to anxiety. Approximately 70-80%⁴ of people who have suffered from a heart attack have greater levels of anxiety afterward — which can then put them at risk for developing further heart problems.
Meditation
Meditation will take your body out of the anxious state and move you into the default calm state. Your heart rate will slow as a result. This is something you should do daily. If time is a restriction a five-minute meditation is preferable to nothing.
Distract yourself
Whenever you are experiencing anxious thoughts, doing something that 'fills your mind' and needs complete focus can be a good distraction. Small things like leaving the room or going outside can be effective. One other technique that some people use when calming their anxiety is counting backwards.

Having normal blood pressure is a sign of a healthy heart. Normal blood pressure is below 120/80 mm Hg. High blood pressure is a systolic pressure of 130 or higher, or diastolic pressure of 90 or higher, that stays high over time.
