Public is the default setting and that means anybody can see your video. Private means only those you invite to view the video can view it (they must have their own Youtube accounts and the maximum number is 50 usernames). Your video will not come up under any search results or your channel list.
What happens to my video when it's locked as private? When a video is locked as private, it won't appear on your channel or in search results, and will be invisible to other users. None of your subscribers will see a video that is locked private.

On the other hand, MMS is designed to send photos, videos, and other rich media. While both can send video files, they'll show up a little differently depending on how you send them. But more on that in a moment. There's one crucial thing you should keep in mind before you start texting out videos.
Is WhatsApp safe for sending private photos? WhatsApp encrypts your data while in transit, which makes the app a good option for sending private photos. While images and videos are moving between users, they are encrypted and cannot be decrypted until they reach their intended recipient.
The first thing to check is your network connection. iMessage requires a stable Wi-Fi or cellular data connection to send images and videos. If your network is weak or unstable, iMessage may struggle to send multimedia files. To test your network, try loading a webpage or streaming a video.

Messages app may fail to send videos on an active data saver mode. You'll need to give unrestricted data usage permission to Messages to send videos without any issue. Step 1: Open the Messages info menu (check the steps above). Step 2: Select the 'Mobile data & Wi-Fi' option.
