It's possible we have doubts about using only conditioner when we shower because we've always been told to use both products simultaneously. Well, that is no longer the case and it's definitely okay to just skip the shampoo to opt for conditioner instead.
Healthier Hair
The biggest one is that your hair gets healthier. It has better color to it, isn't as dry or brittle if that's an issue for you, and stays healthy looking for longer than shampoo-adapted hair.
The bottom line is that dirty hair does not grow faster than clean hair, so you might as well have a clean scalp and fresh hair. Your hair will look better, feel better, and be healthier as a result.
No-poo is not for everyone. It doesn't make sense. But a lot of people dive deep instead of letting their scalps adjust. And no-poo is quite a different situation than "shampooing less frequently", or using gentler and more natural shampoo.
In fact, if you are looking for more volume, then by all means – add sea salt spray to the roots! If you don't want to use the spray on your roots, use my dry shampoo. This will give you the volume you are looking for. Third, once the sea salt is applied – twist, crunch, and scrunch your hair.

Washing the hair less often can help the scalp remain healthy, prevent itching and flaking, and keep the hair soft and shiny. People with very oily scalps may develop acne on the scalp or along the hairline and may need to wash their hair more frequently to keep their hair looking clean.
