To turn off caller ID, open Settings, tap Applications, and then tap Phone. Locate and tap More Settings. Tap Caller ID. And select Hide Number.
If the Show My Caller ID switch in iPhone Settings is grayed out and unusable, that means your carrier doesn't support hiding caller ID via this method. Try hiding your caller ID by using a special block code or contact your carrier. Make sure to check the FAQs if this doesn't work for you.
To block caller ID for an individual call, dial 1831 (or #31# from a mobile) then the number you are calling. Generally, this will make sure the person you are calling will not see your number.

By default, your outgoing Caller ID number and name will display when the recieving party has Caller ID enabled. If you want to block or hide Caller ID, use short codes or contact us. To check if caller ID is turned on: In your phone dialer settings, turn on or display your Caller ID setting.

Dial *67 Before the Number You Want to Call
Then type (or paste) it into the phone app manually, with *67 at the beginning of it. As an example, if you wanted to block your phone number when calling 555 555 5555, you'd need to dial *67 555 555 5555.
Touch Calls. Touch Additional settings. Touch Caller ID. Touch the desired option (e.g., Hide number).
Turn Off/On "Hide Contacts Without Numbers" It is also possible that 'Hide Contacts Without Numbers' functions have been enabled after the Android update. It happens sometimes, and due to the activation of this option, Android not showing contact names.
Android uses a lookup table to try to predict who is calling. If you have a previously allocated number, the database may have the old users details and hence the wrong caller ID is shown.
