From the age of 12, I was seized with a burning desire to pay my own way, to have the things I wanted from the efforts of my own labour. It wasn't that I had any burning desire to go to India - but a family acquaintance was in touch with a leprosy colony there, so I arranged to go.
You can develop it over time, but it's essential to have a game plan. People that have a strong desire for success are always setting goals and creating plans. The more specific your goals and plans are, the higher your desire will be. Keep developing the plan over time and notice how the desire for success increases.
Burning Desire To Have Something
Desire to have something turns our mind and body to do actions to achieve those things, it takes all those things away that stops us to achieve the things we desire for.
To possess a burning desire in life, one needs to focus on their feelings, thoughts, vibrations, actions/reactions, and results. This process helps you comprehend your goals and the way to achieve them. However, a positive mental attitude is one of the prerequisites for attaining a burning desire for your goal.
Focusing your attention and envisioning only what you WANT. Having a positive attitude (about yourself, your life, getting what you want). Being patient and trusting what you desire will happen.
Apathy can be a symptom of mental health problems, Parkinson's disease, or Alzheimer's disease. It often lasts a long time. You may lack the desire to do anything that involves thinking or your emotions. The term comes from the Greek word "pathos," which means passion or emotion.
Many of those that suffer from serious anxiety and panic attacks experience a burning sensation - a feeling of heat, itching or irritation in the skin that can be uncomfortable and even frightening. That burning sensation really can be a symptom of anxiety.
A burning desire is the starting point of all accomplishment. Just like a small fire cannot give much heat, a weak desire cannot produce great results. The motivation to succeed comes from the burning desire to achieve a purpose.
Similarly, within the teachings of Buddhism, craving, identified as the most potent form of desire, is thought to be the cause of all suffering, which can be eliminated to attain greater happiness (Nirvana).

Mental health:Anxiety, depression, stress, body image issues, low self-esteem, or past sexual or physical abuse.
Loss of libido (sex drive) is a common problem affecting up to 1 in 5 men – and even more women – at some point in their life. It's often linked to professional and personal stress, or important life-changing events such as pregnancy, childbirth or breastfeeding.
Desire motivates us in many important ways: physical desire, for example, is called hunger or thirst; intellectual desire is called curiosity; sexual desire is called lust; economic desire is called consumer demand.
There are elements of novelty, separateness, uncertainty, and primitivity.
