Good thing there are many uses for it, one of which, stain remover. In fact, it may be the most readily available stain remover in a Sharpie emergency—and it works great for getting rid of permanent marker in addition to the germs on your hands.
Normally, Crayola washable products can be removed from the skin by washing with soap and water. If you are unsuccessful with soap and water, try using baby wipes, baby oil or make-up remover.
Sharpie can be easily removed from skin. You can use an alcohol-based cleaner, such as rubbing alcohol, hairspray, or hand sanitizer. Or, if you prefer, you can rub a glob of sunscreen or coconut oil into the Sharpie until it is gone then wipe it away with a tissue.
Don't freak out, because, unlike tattoo ink, permanent marker ink only sticks on the surface. Thus, you will find that the Sharpie lasts on skin for a few days before it eventually fades away. Nonetheless, there are several methods to quickly remove that permanent ink.
Toothpaste also works great for removing permanent marker from painted walls without causing damage. As previously mentioned, skip the gel toothpaste and ideally, choose one that contains baking soda.
Alcohol-based hand sanitizers do a good job of removing permanent marker ink. They reactivate the ink, allowing you to easily wipe the stain off. Cover the entire ink stain with hand sanitizer. Let it sit for about 30 seconds and then wipe off the ink with a soft rag.
Skin: Rubbing alcohol or a gritty soap or cleanser will help remove Sharpie from skin quickly. Fabric: Remove Sharpie from the fabric of clothing, table cloths, curtains, and more with nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol.
Sharpie Fine Point Markers are the safest pens to use on skin. Even with these pens, it's a good idea to avoid writing on the lips or near the eyes. King Size Sharpie, Magnum Sharpie, and Touch-Up Sharpie contain xylene, which is neurotoxic and may damage other organs.
Does Sharpie wash out of clothes? If you're looking to get permanent marker out of clothes, wash them as soon as possible. Try to blot up as much of the ink as you can while it's still wet, and then treat the area with a laundry stain remover before washing in cold water.
Permanent marker can be easily removed from leather surfaces using distilled white vinegar. Let the vinegar sit on the stain for a few minutes to ensure that it penetrates. Then wipe off the stain with a damp cloth and circular motions.
As well as cleaning our pearly whites, toothpaste is a mild abrasive that often contains baking soda. This makes it abrasive enough to easily remove stains and scuffs on any surface or walls around the home. Avoid using gel pastes as these often contain dyes which might transfer.
Vinegar/lemon juice: Acids, like vinegar and lemon juice, can be effective against permanent marker stains. Though they are mildly acidic in nature, they can still dissolve mineral deposits, dirt, grease, and grime. White vinegar is also antibacterial and works best on synthetic fibers.

Thankfully, several household products can help remove it. Give hand sanitizer, rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover, lotion, shaving cream or sunscreen a try. Take care not to get any products in sensitive areas such as eyes and mouths.
Use a gel pen in a dark colour to draw the design. The ink in gel pens is easy to transfer from the paper to the skin. Draw the design on paper such as tracing paper or parchment paper using a pencil, then fill it with colour using the gel pen.
