You know the situation I am facing, the impossible circumstances with which I am dealing, that of… Lord, I need help that only You can provide. I am asking You to bring Answers, bring Freedom, bring Provision, bring Hope, bring something Good, bring Testimonies, bring People as a result of my crying out to You.
Dear heavenly Father, we praise you for your promises of steadfast love, daily mercies, and doing the impossible, for we need all three. Because of your steadfast love for us in Jesus, we have incomparable peace. Because of your daily mercies, we have the freedom to be vulnerable.
When I feel weak and limited, I will put my trust in you and remember that your power is limitless. When my problems feel impossible, I will hand them over to you, for whom all things are possible. Amen.
Jeremiah 33:3 (The Message)
When you're put in an impossible situation, your talent, logic, and education won't solve your problem. Only God can. That's why you pray and ask God for his supernatural help. God told Jeremiah, who lived at the same time as Daniel, “Call to me and I will answer you.
Matthew 17:20: “Nothing will be impossible.” Matthew 19:26: “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Mark 10:27: “With men it is impossible, but not with God.” Luke 1:37: “With God nothing will be impossible.”
The key to this process is learning (or reminding yourself) about God's character. You can trust God's leading when you trust His character. The Bible says He is a good Father who gives good gifts. He never sets out to trick or manipulate us (Matthew 7:9-11).
In this powerful book, Linda Evans Shepherd shows readers how to reach out to God and ask for a miracle. She shows how God's miracles may not come packaged in the ways we would expect, but they do come in ways that will transform our lives.
Luke 1:37: “For nothing will be impossible with God.”
Nothing is impossible with You, God! You see things differently than I do, and so You bring about things in ways I could never conceive—all for our good and Your glory. May You be put on display, Lord, in Your works, plans, purposes, Word, and ways!
When fear and doubt come upon us, remember that God specializes in doing the impossible. Everything from health or financial problems, to restoring relationships or finding our destiny, the Lord is perfectly aware of our worries and has more than enough wisdom and power to take care of it.
Remember, O most Gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of Virgins, my mother. To thee do I cry, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
Pray with a friend.
There is power in agreement when we pray in Jesus' name. When I have an urgent need to take before the throne of God, I will often call a friend to pray with me.
Help me not to fear the future but to boldly trust that you are in control when my emotions plunge me down, and when I am in despair. And times when I can't talk and don't know what to say, help me to “Be still, and know that you are God”. Be my comforter, my healer and bring me peace. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Lord Jesus, I come before you, just as I am; I am sorry for my sins, I repent of my sins, please forgive me. In your Name, I forgive all others for what they have done against me. I renounce Satan, the evil spirits, and all their works. I give you my entire self, Lord Jesus, now and forever.
“Your will be done” is a difficult prayer to pray sincerely. It may be the hardest prayer you will ever pray. Even though Jesus Himself instructed us to use these words, there are at least four reasons why we find it difficult to do so.
The most effective, prayer, the one that is always answered is this: ""Father, glorify Your name. "" ""Answer my cry, O Lord, in a way that will accomplish Your will, for Your will is good, acceptable, and perfect. It is best for You and therefore, best for me and any others who may be affected by this prayer.
Scripture gives us the authority to claim our miracle whether it is physical healing, reconciliation with a friend or loved one, financial provision, wisdom at work, or even something as seemingly impossible as world peace. Every situation imaginable has an applicable promise in the Bible.
My point is simply that prayer dares to call the impossible into reality. It trusts the One who can do all things to do impossible things. It rests its hope on God's power and not man's agency. It finds rest and security in knowing that the stubborn friend who refuses to believe will be met by the God of grace.
These three powerful morning prayers are the prayers of thanksgiving, the Lord's Prayer, and the prayer of Jabez. Jesus taught his disciples how to pray, the Bible tells us to enter his gates with thanksgiving, and Jabez prayed to God and God granted him his request.
Through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, grant me such assurance in your grace that I may put all my trust in you even when I am terrified. Amen. “Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.”
Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Fear can overtake us, but God is all-powerful and will offer us all the strength we need. Take this Bible verse about strength into account when you face tough times.
God can change anything and turn any situation around. Even when doctors have given up all hope and say there is nothing that they can do, Jesus still can. He can do what is needed; He can do what is necessary. When we put our faith In Him, He can turn it around.
