Simply select a cell in a data range > select the Analyze Data button on the Home tab. Analyze Data in Excel will analyze your data, and return interesting visuals about it in a task pane.
1. Pivot tables and pivot charts. One of my favorite features in Excel is pivot charts and, as a close follow-up feature, pivot tables. Pivot charts visualize the data expressed in a pivot table, giving us insight at a glance.
You can turn on/off the quick analysis feature in Excel in the Excel options menu. Just go to “Options” under the “File” tab. Under the General tab, check or uncheck the “Show Quick Analysis Options on Selection” tick box to toggle it on/off.
Use external data sources: If you have data that's too large to fit into a single Excel worksheet, consider using external data sources like a database or a CSV file. You can connect to these data sources using Excel's data connection features and analyze the data directly within Excel.
For large datasets, analyze continuous variables (such as age) by determining the mean, median, standard deviation and interquartile range (IQR). Analyze nominal variables (such as gender) by using percentages.
Excel will not show you the quick analysis button if you select blank cells. And, if you have selected the entire column or a row.
On the Tools menu, select Excel Add-Ins. In the Add-Ins available box, select the Solver Add-In check box, and then click OK. If Solver Add-in is not listed in the Add-Ins available box, click Browse to locate the add-in.
Make sure that the AutoFill option is turned on in Excel. To do this, go to the File menu, click on Options, and then select Advanced. Scroll down to the Editing Options section and make sure that the Enable AutoFill option is checked.
LibreOffice. This application is an open-source program that includes a range of tools, including spreadsheet tools. It's similar in design and function to Excel and can handle many types of business data. Because it's an online resource, it can also support collaborative editing and real-time updates.
Three kinds of What-If Analysis tools come with Excel: Scenarios, Goal Seek, and Data Tables. Scenarios and Data tables take sets of input values and determine possible results. A Data Table works with only one or two variables, but it can accept many different values for those variables.
A simple example of data analysis can be seen whenever we make a decision in our daily lives by evaluating what has happened in the past or what will happen if we make that decision. Basically, this is the process of analyzing the past or future and making a decision based on that analysis.

The keyboard shortcut for accessing the Quick Analysis tool is pressing Ctrl + Q after selecting the data you want to analyse. You can even activate the Quick analysis tool from the right-click menu after selecting the cells containing the data.
The Quick Access Toolbar (QAT) is a customizable toolbar containing a set of commands that are independent of the tab that is currently displayed. It can be located in one of two places: Upper-left corner above the ribbon (default location) Upper-left corner below the ribbon.

It can process both structured and unstructured data from one server to multiple computers. Hadoop also offers cross-platform support for its users. Today, it is the best big data analytic tool and is popularly used by many tech giants such as Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, etc.
To do this, use the “&” sign in your function to streamline or simplify the data – e.g. =A2&” “&B2. This can be helpful when dealing data such as names and addresses that tend to get broken up into many individual cells when imported into Excel.
