According to Lifehacker, your iPhone automatically tells you when the phone or microphone is active—you just have to know where to look. When your phone is taking a video recording, a green dot will appear in the top-right corner of the screen. For audio recordings, an orange dot will be visible in the same place.
With iOS 14 or later, an orange dot, an orange square, or a green dot indicates when the microphone or camera is being used by an app. is being used by an app on your iPhone. This indicator appears as an orange square if the Differentiate Without Color setting is on.
If an unauthorized person wants to see you through your phone's camera, using a spyware app is a viable method. Fortunately, if your stalker isn't a sophisticated hacker, the software they use may appear as an open application running behind the scenes.
Under California law, it is a crime punishable by fine and/or imprisonment to record a confidential conversation without the consent of all parties, or without a notification of the recording to the parties via an audible beep at specific intervals.
On the lefthand menu, click 'Activity controls'. Scroll down to the 'Voice & Audio activity' section and click that. There you'll find a chronological list of all the voice and audio recordings which will include any recorded without you knowing.
Check the Webcam Indicator Light
The little red/green/blue indicator light near the lens lets you know if your webcam is currently recording video. That means the light needs to be off when you are not using the webcam. If you see the light flashing, it means someone else is accessing your webcam.

Unfortunately, spyware apps aren't the only way that someone can spy on your phone activity, though. ISPs, governments, WiFi administrators, search engines, website owners, and hackers all have the capacity to spy on certain aspects of what you do on your phone – without having to install any spyware software.
Strange Noise During Calls
You can hear strange noises during calls if the connection is poor. But if these noises are constant regardless of your location, most probably your device is tracked by a spy app. Though spyware runs seamlessly in the background, it can cause clicking or beeping noises during calls.
You can immediately check if your phone has been compromised, or if your calls, messages etc have been forwarded without your knowledge. All you need to do is dial a few USSD codes - ##002#, *#21#, and *#62# from your phone's dialer.
If someone records you without your permission in a way that breaks federal or state law, you can contact a legal professional, sue them, and get them to pay damages. However, a civil lawsuit isn't the worst thing that can happen to those who illegally record people.
If you are recording audio conversations of others without having their written consent from all parties, then it will be a violation of privacy which is guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution of India.
