We Are Precious and Honored in His Eyes. In Isaiah 43:4, it says, “Since you are precious and honored in my sight and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life.” In God's eyes, we are precious and honored.
He sees you in the Beloved—He sees you in Christ, and He sees the blood that has been shed for you by His dear Son. When God looks at you today, He sees Jesus. Because of this, His thoughts toward you are thoughts of loving-kindness, forgiveness, blessings, and favor.
God sees each of us through eyes of unconditional love, and He loves everyone—it doesn't matter what they do, where they work, how much money they have, how educated they are or what they look like. We need to do the same. We need to learn to see others as God sees them.
God sees us as an image of Himself.
Genesis 1:27 says, “God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” God created us, not as a musician creates a symphony, not as an artist creates a picture, not as a sculptor creates a statue.
She also said, “Have I truly seen the One who sees me?” ( Genesis 16:13 NLT) Not only had God seen Hagar, but He had also heard her as well. My friend, God sees you. He hears what you're going through and wants to remind you that you're not alone.
He Sees Your Tears
When we feel fear, sadness, or despair, our vocabulary of words just can't seem to communicate as well as weeping does. But, God sees your tears. He hears your cry. He is mindful of what scares you and stresses you and saddens you.
It's been posited that God speaks to us through circumstances: blocked pathways, dreams, feelings, inspirations, music, nature, symbols, tender mercies, thoughts and visions. Some say he communicates through the community of believers, prayer, scriptures, sermons, wise counsel and His very creation.
Through the death and miraculous resurrection of Jesus Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in your life, God sees Jesus when he sees you. There are many reasons to praise God, both found in scripture and out of our personal experience with Him.
We must intentionally put our focus on Jesus and embrace our uniqueness and all that God has given us. He chooses to see us as right and justified because we are in His Son and we believe. He is so much greater than our flaws, struggles, and our past.
No one can look directly at the Creator of Genesis 1 and simply call it a nice experience. In other words, no one can see the face of God and simply chayay – continue as if everything was normal. Looking into the face of God can change us in such dramatic ways that our previous life is destroyed.
The Huichol Indians who lived in the mountains made God's eyes (or Ojos de Dios) to watch over them. They were woven onto crisscrossing sticks, joining in the center. The center eye represented the sun and stood for the power of seeing and understanding things we normally cannot see.
A God-given vision points to God!
When someone comes up with a good idea, the temptation or natural byproduct can be glory or honor for the one who came up with it. However, when God gives us a vision, the vision is often something that would be impossible if left simply to our human ability.
A God's eye (in Spanish, Ojo de Dios) is a spiritual and votive object made by weaving a design out of yarn upon a wooden cross. Often several colors are used. They are commonly found in Mexican, Peruvian people and Latin American communities, among both Indigenous and Catholic peoples.
From the Scriptures, whenever God visited the earth, it is either for judgment or for blessings (Jeremiah 27:22; Mt. 21: 10-17). His visit often resulted in salvation, deliverance, healing, joy, peace, blessings, transformation, redemption, restoration (Gen. 21: 1-2; Ex.
Despite the emphasis placed upon our physical appearance by the world, God sees more than our physical appearance. He looks at our hearts and our intentions. God has already declared each of us beautiful as we are His wonderful creations (Psalm 139:13-16). When God created us, He created us in His image (Genesis 1:27).
You are loved
In God, you have a close friend who knows you and understands you better than anyone. He sees your heart and desire to be good; He sees your struggles and how you are drawn to things that aren't good. He is always there to listen and help when you pray to Him with a sincere and humble heart.
You need a heart change, and this is God's work through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Essential purity is possible only by admitting your rebellion against God's will and seeking forgiveness by faith in Christ.
Abstract. In the Bible, St. Paul (Saul of Tarsus) was struck blind by a light from heaven. Three days later his vision was restored by a "laying on of hands." The circumstances surrounding his blindness represent an important episode in the history of religion.
Prayerfully study the following scriptures: Amos 3:6–7. Amos teaches that the Lord reveals his secrets to his servants the prophets.
Yet the Bible also speaks of times when God “hides” his face, or “turns” his face away from his people. This is typically an act of discipline or judgment, where God pulls back, experientially, from his people that they would sense their need for his grace and power and seek him afresh (Deut. 31:17; Ps. 27:9).
God sends us the warning signs but we trivialize them; we convince ourselves that we can handle whatever is coming, that if we survived the last time, we can do it again. Through His Word, God reminds us to take caution and be alert. How gracious is He to speak to us through His Word.
God's warnings come in various forms: a challenging word from a friend; a story from a pastor's sermon; a still, small voice inside letting you know it's not right; and the unavoidable truth of God's Word.
