Kate Middleton often stands in heels for hours at a time while making public appearances. So to ensure comfort, etiquette expert Myka Meier says the Princess of Wales uses two tricks. Kate is said to wear John Lewis non-slip tights and Alice Bow insoles to "cushion" her feet.
To prevent her feet from slipping out of her heels, Meier said Middleton wears non-slip tights from John Lewis, a high-end department store in the United Kingdom. The sheer stockings retail for £6, or around US$6.50, and feature gel strips on the bottom of each foot that grip to the soles of shoes.
“She has simply been trained to always keep her chin parallel to the ground. She doesn't tilt it down, she doesn't tilt it up—and that ensures a flattering photograph every single time.”
Dr De Silva said the Duchess, 34, had the most popular nose because it is mathematically 'almost perfect'. To the naked eye, her nose is straight, delicate and feminine and science confirms that her nose, with its 106-degree nasal tip rotation, deserves a place on the world's most perfect face.
But it seems as though there's a genuine reason for the Duchess's style choice. It turns out Kate Middleton has a large scar on her hair line, on the left side of her head. This scar has only ever been photographed once in the media, in 2011 when her hair was pulled back from her face.
Although Kate is more regularly seen in heels, she's no stranger to the ballet flat. A decade ago, the royal was regularly seen in her French Sole pumps, later adding a pair of two-tone flats by Camilla Elphick to her wardrobe at the Royal Charity Polo Cup back in September.

Not only is Kate Middleton known for her exquisite taste, from her Alexander McQueen dresses to her festive Catherine Walker coats, but the Princess of Wales is also known for keeping those outfits in a steady rotation. It turns out, rewearing outfits is a do for the royals.
Kate is able to purchase some of the items if she wishes, and it comes out of her allowance which is allocated to the family by Prince Charles. Prior to becoming a royal, Meghan was required to pay for all her own clothing, the duchess deemed unable to accept gifts following her royal wedding.
Sometimes she'll recycle outfits from years ago. (We'd love to know how many palace rooms are occupied by Kate's old clothing.) Still, even when she does rewear an outfit, she usually changes her accessories or shoes or some other detail to make the second look stand out.
Kate Middleton has been a style influencer since well before she married Prince William, but her effortless, understated beauty look is equally coveted by fans—and made all the more lovable by the fact that Middleton often does her own makeup, even on her wedding day.
Whilst admitting that Kate's hair is always "practically perfect in every way," she revealed that the Duchess relies on a simple hair net to maintain a "sleek style."
She also has tattoos on each of her wrists and a tiger on her left-hand shoulder blade. While she does not appear to have any permanent markings, Princess Kate has experimented with temporary tattoo designs before.
Long-Wear Weightless Foundation, £37.50. On her wedding day, Kate Middleton used Bobbi Brown's Long-Wear Even Finish Foundation for a flawless, glowing complexion that would withstand the flashes of thousands of paparazzi cameras.
An anonymous source once told Daily Mail, "Kate takes her toned physiques exceptionally seriously. The Princess is reportedly also a fan of CrossFit and yoga, makes time to go for a run most days, enjoys cycling, and does most of her workouts without a personal trainer."
Kate Middleton's Most Notable Nail Moments - Grazia 2023
Many reported that she wore a mix of Essie's Nail polish in Allure and Bourjois' So Laque Nail Enamel in Rose Lounge, a product that has since been discontinued.
Kate has also opted for a heavier eye look, including fake lashes - which the make-up artists says 'totally transforms her look' - while her choice of lip colour is subtle but glamorous.
She cuts and styles Kate's hair in her Kensington Palace home. Imagine the media storm if the Duchess of Cambridge popped out into Kensington to have her ends trimmed every six to eight weeks... Unsurprisingly, Kate prefers to have Amanda style her hair in the comfort of her own home.
Just how does the Princess of Wales keep her hair so long and natural? That's easy writes Kate's hairdresser RICHARD WARD - it's the BBBD (the Big Bouncy Blow Dry).
Orange Blossom Cologne by Jo Malone: Kate Middleton's perfume. A warm, sweet, floral scent. Kate Middleton chose Orange Blossom by perfumer Jo Malone as her favourite fragrance. The Duchess of Cambridge has worn this orange blossom scent for several years now.
To create her perfectly defined eyes, Kate reportedly uses Lancôme's Artliner pen. The 'Artliner' is akin to a felt tip and its fast-drying properties, promises never to smudge. Kate sweeps the liquid liner along her top and bottom lash line.

Etiquette expert Myka Meier revealed that Kate holds her bags in her left hand so she can keep her right hand free to greet and shake hands with guests at the many public functions she attends as a royal.
