By the end of Season 4, he's shown still trudging through Purgatory, a place where time progresses more rapidly than it does in the Living World, meaning that by the time he escapes, he'll likely be thousands of years older than 43, but due to his immortality, won't possess a wrinkle to show for it.
Immortality Curse: Meliodas was cursed with a type of immortality by the Demon King. He doesn't age physically, and every time he dies his soul enters Purgatory, where the Demon King eats some of his emotions, resulting in an increase in power for Meliodas.

Elizabeth Liones「エリザベス・リオネス」 is the third adoptive princess and current queen of the Kingdom of Liones, the 107th and current incarnation of the Goddess Elizabeth, and the lover of Meliodas, captain of the Seven Deadly Sins. She is the deuteragonist of the series.
Meliodas is the captain of the Seven Deadly Sins and the strongest fighter in the group. He was originally the leader of the Ten Commandments, but then he fell in love with Elizabeth and decided to quit being their leader. Meliodas' power increased by several folds towards the end of the series.
