One Piece to end in 3 years and Oda anticipates "the greatest battle ever"
In August 2019, Oda said that, according to his predictions, the manga will end between 2024 and 2025.
During the Jump Festa that took place on December 18th, 2022, Oda confirmed that the series will end at its own pace and there is no need for fans to worry. This is a huge confirmation, and it also means that One Piece might end a few years after dates that Oda had previously.
In the interview with Aoyama, Oda initially says that he isn't sure how many years it will take to complete the series. But, in the following statement, the author confirms that his goal is to end One Piece in around three years. Also, the mangaka already planned the fitting ending to Luffy's journey.
One Piece is finally entering its final saga after the conclusion of the Wano Country arc and with Oda planning to end the series within the next three years, it is time for the story to focus on the most important of events.

The consensus among the fans is that One Piece still has around 5-6 years left, meaning the story will likely end close to 2027.
