Loki appeared to die no less than three times over the course of his six appearances in the MCU, starting with his falling into a wormhole in Thor, continuing with his faked death in Thor: The Dark World, and finally his actual death (so it would seem) at Thanos' hands in the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War.
Loki killed 80 people. In the 2012 film, The Avengers, in a meeting, Thor warns Bruce Banner to be cautious when talking about Loki because he is Thor's brother. The Black Widow responds, "He killed eighty people in two days." Loki is Thor's adopted brother.
Tom Hiddleston's original Loki died a total of three times with his Variant counterpart dying only twice so far. So, it actually makes Loki's retort to the Time-Keepers not make much sense since he was only killed once at that point.
Before the opening title even appeared, several well-known characters met their demise, including Loki. While behind the scenes of the shoot was more lighthearted, on-screen fans were heartbroken. Thanos kills Loki brutally and tragically while Thor helplessly watches.
The Loki who died in Infinity War is still dead, but the Loki from the past – around the events of the first Avengers movie – is alive and well. And he was able to escape capture by grabbing hold of the Space Stone and vanishing.
Technically speaking, the real Loki — or rather, the Loki that fans have watched since 2011 — is still dead. The version in the series is from a different timeline, and he is at a distinct point in his character growth.

Loki Laufeyson is a Variant of Loki who murdered his adoptive brother Thor. He was subsequently arrested by the Time Variance Authority, who pruned his timeline and exiled him to the Void, where he became a ruler and befriended alternate versions of himself.
Loki and Thor reuniting could undermine Loki's 'death'
However, given that Loki has made a comeback with his own show and season two on the way, it's not impossible to see the two brothers reunite in some way or fashion, either in Loki or another Thor film (or even a Loki movie).
Despite being over 1,000 years old, he still maintains the physical appearance of a man in his prime. In Avengers: Infinity War, when Loki was killed by Thanos, he was 1,054 years old.

Loki and Heimdall kill each other
The rivalry comes to a head in Ragnarok when Heimdall kills Loki. Loki manages to kill Heimdall right back, a lot of mutual killing goes on at Ragnarok. Still, that's one fight I would love to see, whether in seal or in human form.
Loki has always delighted in cheating death, manipulating others into believing he was dead in order to hatch his next scheme. At the end of Thor, he apparently took his own life — but Loki survived death by plunging into one of the many portals he knew could be found in Yggdrasil.
Ultimately, Loki caused the death of Baldr, wisest of the gods. As punishment, Loki now lies in a cave, bound to a rock by the entrails of his sons. A snake fastened to a stalactite above him drips venom into his face. Loki's faithful wife Sigyn catches the venom in a bowl, protecting Loki from harm.
Tom Hiddleston's Loki does not appear in Thor: Love and Thunder.

When Thor: Love and Thunder is set in the MCU timeline isn't entirely clear, but the film does take place after the Infinity Saga. At this point, the Sacred Timeline Loki is already dead. The God of Mischief died at the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War at the hands of Thanos (Josh Brolin).
The greatest and most challenging foe Loki has faced is perhaps his own brother, Thor. While the two were raised as siblings by Odin, envy drove Loki's desire to overthrow Thor., Loki is frequently defeated by the god of thunder, but is never discouraged from persevering in his efforts.
Loki and Thor are both gods and have immense godly powers that make them somewhat impervious to harm, though they can be beaten; they can lose eyes (Thor) and they can die (Loki). If the metric is physical strength, then Thor is easily the winner.
While none of his Loki beatings were as one-sided as the one MCU fans saw in 2012's The Avengers, his pretty unbeatable physical might is just too much for Loki. While he can be easy to manipulate, Hulk's been able to break through Loki's illusions and smash him.
