It is not uncommon for a puppy to defecate 5-6 times per day. Some will eliminate even more frequently. The good news is that the pace of pooping will slow down as the dog matures. Although a 2-week-old puppy may defecate at every feeding, by 12 weeks, they may be down to only 4 times per day.
How often do puppies poop a day? The majority of puppies will poop as often as 5 times a day. This amount of daily pooping is perfectly normal for puppies from 8 weeks, through to 3 months, and then 6 months of age… until they become adult dogs.
AFTER MEALS
Most puppies eat three to four meals a day while they're growing and they'll have to pee and poop after each meal. For younger dogs, wait about 20 minutes after a meal to take him outside to potty.

Do: Watch the Clock. Give your puppy 15 minutes to do his business. If nothing happens, put him in his crate for another 15 minutes before trying again.
It is always advisable to feed a dog after the walk but not immediately after the walk. Leave a considerable time, say half an hour to 45 minutes, before you give them their meal. Feeding your pets while they are still warm and panting from their walk can cause digestive problems.
Puppy's Digestive Tract

The frequency or timing does not matter as much. Yet, in as much as it's okay for puppies to poop a lot, it's not normal if they go from being a typical twice-a-day-er to requiring to go five or six times. They could be having some digestion issues, and you will likely need to visit a vet.
Some of the signs of parvovirus include lethargy; loss of appetite; abdominal pain and bloating; fever or low body temperature (hypothermia); vomiting; and severe, often bloody, diarrhea. Persistent vomiting and diarrhea can cause rapid dehydration, and damage to the intestines and immune system can cause septic shock.
